Kitchen done up some far.... Necessity stuffs like kettle pot, cutlery and gas stove has to be up first... If not no water and no food to eat..... hehe Come weekend has to dismantle the washing machine and the microwave brought over from old place for cleaning.... oh ya am still waiting for the wall organizer for mop and broom to be delivered from amazon. We have shifted into our new place yesterday... The house is in a total mess due to some minor touch up going on and uppacking of our belonging. Still awaiting some furniture to arrive and installation of the curtain. will post pic once we have settled down...

I am not too sure about the heat trapped but our toilet is facing the afternoon sun and for my usage after the afternoon sun, it is not hot at all... Probably it could be due to that i have not installed any water heater inside the toilet.

Hi starbux, yes you are observant, i am using cement screed for my toilet wall. Initially i wanted to get those bling mosaic tiles for the wall but the design i choose come up to be $1xxx!!! Due to economical scale, went for the retro style which is another alternative. Hence i build my toilet them around more retro and rustic theme...

i think a trip to ikea will be ideal to get all the different selection of light bulb. Last i went there they have a display of all the light bulbs of different shape and brightness where we can do the testing by a press of button on the shelf, much like shopping for light bulb for car head light at autobacs if you get what i means!

Yesterday....Have a lot of works going on.... Dining table and chairs delivered... wallpaper pasted but needs a few day for the wallpaper to be fully dried hence there are some patches here and there. WIW Pole system up but...... wifey commented that it may not be enough... OMG think i have to get another separate wardrobe to put my clothing then.. And today is a **** busy day for us..... Roped in all my friends to help carried all our carton boxes from 2 different location to our new place!!! And also carried washing machine, fridge and TV over... these items are enough to give us body ache tomorrow hehe And it is confirmed, we will be moving in on the 30th Oct this coming Sunday! Can't wait for move in... Works are still on going at the moment. carpentry. electrician and plumbing will be done latest by saturday, the day before we finalized everything!

We choose this basin because our contractor told us we have to get a small size basin (no longer than 50cm in width) in order to accommodate on our vanity top, hence we chose this baby basin....

After the general washing is done last weekend, spent a couple of hours today to wash another round again. Body aching and leg feel wobbly now haha.... They are still in very good condition hence decided to relocate them to the living and dining area to prolong their life span since we will not be using them that frequent only when having guests over....

I got my kitchen and vanity from GR Link marketing together with my toilet bowl. The lady boss jasmine is very helpful and provide good service. Pricing wise can be cheaper if you can nego with her hard enuff.... my kitchen sink ard 5xx and vanity sink ard 1xx.. so not bad for us... at least budget our budget

today is installation of bathroom accessories. Unfortunately my towel rack and toilet roll holder is not able to be mounted as the screw holding the bracket is not strong enough. In the long run, it will loosen. Time to shop for bathroom accessories again... Hence bathroom is 90% done.... My toilet bowl also has problem with the cover joint. The rubber has torn quite severely and will ask the shop to change them. Also kudos to my contractor for helping me to stick the door stopper for my shower screen and frosted door in common bathroom. The way he has done is ingenius and i find it to be perfect in opening them. Our mirror, tap, toilet bowl and basin up!

Yap i know about this, In fact, i have future proof my bedroom downlight by changing all my downlight to e27 connector instead of PLC to accommodate them if i want to change in future. The reason i never used that is because the bulb of philip easyscene is in spiral shape which doesn't goes well with the peca ilum. I will experiment my bulb by using different light rating.... 11w for a start...

I am using a 21 watts warm white energy bulb. Think i too kiasu already, afraid that area will not be bright enough.... think i will settle for a 11w/13w bulb from ikea.... and try again... thanks

I bought my brass chandelier from a shop along balestier, the white birdcage is DIY and the peca is online....

some light preview... after electrician help me to rush into the night time... I think some of the bulb are too bright and may try experimenting with different tone of brightness, especially my peca ilum.
