  4. Went to muji and saw the side table. Not very sturdy i will say. I think it is back to looking for a coffee table which is much more useful and sturdy. Anyone have recommendation for a small coffee table.......

  7. If you can put up with the raw look and cement screed hairline crack then it fine. I have mine put up with stainless steel strip to prevent cracking in the long run. Put wall tiles onto it is also fine... Btw how long have you been using cement screed?
  8. I am selling it for 35. thanks

  9. So far has some hairline crack that is caused by drilling some holes to mount bracket onto the wall. My place is 7 yrs old hdb and I have moved in juz 2 weeks ago. Contractor done waterproof on my cement screed for me to do normal cleaning should I need to. One thing that I think is that after shifting in, there tend to be some powder on my kitchen top and require me to perform cleaning. I am still monitoring it to check will the powder reappear again.... Apart from that I am ok with the wall. Hope it helps
  10. Cool thanks for spending the effort to help me worth this info. It has been very helpful...
  11. The side table from Muji looks cool. Looks suitable for my design. Now i need to go to the showroom and measure the clearance for my height of the sofa. You have any idea how much is it going for?
  12. thanks will try totts during the weekend.... got to buy some kitchen accessories from there as well...
  13. Does your living area has the same layout as mine? Can post photo after you put your sofa in? So i suppose you are gona to use the wooden arm rest for your guest to place their drink? thanks
  14. thanks this idea is inspired when i visited bangkok and saw one of the retail shop doing it at their shop front.....
  15. I am actually looking at those serving tables so when vistors come over, i can just push the serving tables out and let them put their cups when serving drinks. When we are not using i can actually push it to the kitchen to serve as another shelfing unit..... Any idea where can i get one of those serving tables?...... thanks
  16. It has been a daunting task after shifting in, especially the unpacking portion! Hence that explain the missing in action here. What used to be in place with the old place has to be decided with a new place to store them. Finally things are slowly getting into place. On top pf that, I actually spent a week to paint my bedroom door frame and my main door. Out of touch for quite a while, i have to fixed up a lot of small patches when i torn down the masking tape..... hehe Anyway, sofa arrive last friday and living area is sort of complete. Still contemplating if we should get a small coffee table, a serving trolley or just do without any of them to be placed in front of the sofa, simply because the space in front is too small! Unless we found a very nice and small coffee table, we will do without one for now. Any suggestion on the idea of coffee table are welcome.....
  17. Today a parcel arrive from amazon... It's chrome station that i have ordered. Without delay quickly fix it up. The instruction menu not very clear, took me a while to figure it up. End product is shiok and very convenient for holding toothbrush and toothpaste. No more fussy placement of them anyway! BTW i ordered two and realized that one of them is unsuitable to be placed onto my cement screed wall as the holding mechanism is using suction and cement is not suitable for that. Anyone want to take over let me know and we can make some agreement on price..... thanks Package in box..... unopened
  18. The shop name is commune.. I bought this dining set also...
