Also need to add some additional power points as well as rearrange the existing power points, as they are too long and almost on floor. this flat don't have aircon installed previously. so should i need to get a separate power point installed first for aircon purpose? will Courts / gain city people be doing this or we have to get this done by separate electrician?

i have read in some topic in this forum itself that someone had a bad experience with gain city. so thats why i wanted to check whether we can get this done from courts, gain city and shops like that. which gain city are u referring to? can you pm me the details? so i guess it is better to get the quote from them first and then get the installation done correct.

hi edenstraus, thanks for the reply. i had already replied to ur pm. i have a really tight budget. do you have any other contractors who can perform this type of job, but wont require high payment. we need to install door as well to the new room, only difference from ur work is that we dont require to do any hacking, as the room is really a huge one with no wall in between. so we just need to erect a wall with door to separate them. this is what i feel. also we need to do some minor renovation works in the bathrooms and some electrical works as well. do you have any contractors who will perform all these jobs? please advice or pm

Hi all, I am very new to this forum and this is my first post. By the grace of GOD, I managed to secure a HDB 4 room flat. But the unit needs some minor renovation works. I will highlight them below 1) 2 bedrooms have been joined together by the owner and made to a big room. So I want to separate them and make it as 2 bedrooms. 2) Need to make inbuilt wardrobes to the 3 bedrooms 3) Supply and install 2 wall fans 4) Full house cleaning which includes chemical cleaning of floors (hall, kitchen, toilet & bathrooms) as well as full cleaning of kitchen. 5) Painting of house These are the main works that i need to perform in my house. Can anyhow suggest a good contractor(s) to accomplish these tasks with the minimum possible budget. Also please advice which all of the above needs permission from HDB. When i went through the website of some renovation contractors, all are showing full house package. I dont need that because apart from the above mentioned works, the house is in good condition. Please someone guide me
