Thats a good question which i was asking myself the other day! Any help out there?

Haiku looks georgeous and apparently it is power saving (especially at mid-low speeds) vis-a-vis other brands. I think it has something to do with its motor. I saw a set that day and stood under it to test how cooling it is. It has 7 speeds with cool LED indicator lights. However i did not think its very cooling even at its top speed. Feels like a typical medium speed rate from other brands. Thats purely my feedback, maybe its not suppose to be so. Any other comments?

i finally got the MFW108 from Maytag. Looks kind of boring but i got it at a steal, so i guess its fine. Has been working fine these past week, very satisfied!

i find it cooling in an airocn setting. to use it in a non aircon setting is quite pointless, theres a very slight breeze only

i have heard of small shops selling export only/ parallel import goods. Due to their nature, these products might not be covered by the local service centers. What you can do is to ensure that there is some form of safety mark stamp on the appliance, which will mean that they are for local sales and will definitely be covered by local service centers. Just be careful when you buy!

I have yet to find a ceiling fan with ample light. The current models i have seen looks pretty dim. Would anyone have good recommendations for a clear white light cum fan?

I am a true believer of front loaders, as they are gentler with the clothes and the hot water functions work better than top loaders. I have been walking arounf washer shopping but there seemed to be so many brands now. I am looking for continental types, so zooming down to Bosch, Maytag, Electrolux, Fisher. Miele is out of my price range. Looking for expert advice. Thanks!
