Thanks bro!! Its a pretty good price! I was quoted 1.3k for 3m by 1.2m... But its gonna be broken up into 2 pcs... Yours is one full piece right? Its size is just nice for the space and table! My mirror size will probably swallow up the table.. sianz.. but no choice have to stretch to the size of the wall...

You should do an open house on NDP and charge entrance fees! Its an amazing live performance from the sky! Its like an ever changing picture with no 2 identical fireworks anytime!

Like everyone, I really envy your open concept bathroom! I guess everyone have their inner "I am the King! behold and look at my greatest birthday robe!" thoughts.. My bathroom is open concept too.. but its open to the world (full height windows)!! Really stupid design imo... still need to install curtains to cover them up..
-
Bro you're such a teaser! Show us your furnitures already! Really loving everything so far! Like the rest, Im gonna miss the "ping pong biang" rubbish chute when I move hse...
-
Looking forward to your pictures! Come on! Maybe start with showing your floor plan?
-
Just came across your blog. Its really a huge transformation from its original state. My wife loves your open kitchen concept while I love the display cabinets! Is that a PG Gundam model in your study area? Not displaying it in its full glory?!

Splitting Of Entire Reno Project Into Different Phases/Sub-Contractors
zone23 replied to arowana's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
Very interesting topic. Im having a dilemma myself.. Shortlisted 2 IDs... the 1st one is cheaper in carpentry and glass works while the 2nd one is cheaper in hacking, painting, ceilling and electrical works. Individually they cost the same overall.. If I combine them on their cheaper stuffs, I can save around 3 to 4k. Do you think its a significant savings for the effort of my coordination between the 2 IDs? -
Btw, may I have the measurements of your mirror? Was thinking of having a full height mirror, but after seeing your pics, Im more driven towards having a half height horizontal strip like yours!

The interaction between the canvas pic, the glass table top and the black tinted glass mirror is simply amazing! The hanging lamp added a touch of elegance to the overall embience. If I were you, I'll want to eat at home everyday! haha

I personally have custom made wardrobes as well as Ikea wardrobes and cabinets. The custom made ones have lasted 10yrs and still going strong while for ikea stuffs, some are still going strong while some have collapsed. I think that its what you wanted that matters. - Durability: Custom made ones depends on luck (workmanship varies from contractors to contractors) while Ikea ones, some are very good (Besta, Detolf) while some series are not durable at all.. well at least you can have a feel urself at Ikea before buying - Cost: Custom made ones are generally more ex and for cheaper ones, you'll be worried abt materials used and workmanship.. - Form fitting: Custom made ones have an advantage because you don't have to worry abt gaps at the ceiling, side walls that might collect dust and requires cleaning. - Flexibility: If you prefer to change furnitures every few years due to different needs or like to change to a different style, you can easy move the ikea furnitures abt.. for custom made ones, probably not so much.. Just my 2 cents worth.. cheers
