I like the L shape part (sink and hob), but I wonder how to effectively use the space behind the sink? Anything you put there will block the rubbish chute, right?

Why did you have to relocate the TP again? Was it really out of place? For my house, I am planning on just laying cat5e cable which doesn't depend on Opennet to wherever I want (including to bedrooms), with one end next to the existing TP.

Wonderful! Another 3 room for me to reference. By the way, looking at your 3D for the living room, the circle table is a space hogger. One barely have space to squeeze pass the table and TV console... For small space like 3rm, I would advise against circular thingys... my 2 cents

wow.. you are lucky. There don't seem to be any horizontal beams in the living rm which, in my impression is quite common. The other thing is that you seem to be going for the open kitchen concept. Do you mean to aircon the kitchen as well? or no aircon for the living room?

How much are you paying for the whole reno? I am single, getting my key probably in nov. Haven decided on ID yet, but may be going for just contractor and 'copying' some of the ideas in RT. I am thinking of how small to make the kitchen, given tat I will probably cook instant noodles only... and if I would actually need a hood at all.

The seller requested for a 2 month extension, which I am okay with. The problem is that HDB doesn't recognize such agreements. I read that on the HDB website, it is okay to have the 2nd appt at a later date if both buyer and seller agrees to it (shouldn't be a problem since seller is the one requesting for extension, and I am the buyer). Has anyone ever made the 2 appt more than 8 weeks after the first appt?

haha... you ever accidentally 'walked' into it? btw, I just see your kitchen photo again, and while I know you got reduce the size, it seems really small. Even if I don't cook, I do plan on having at least a microwave oven, or toaster... but you don't seem to have space for that.

Usually in these flat, pple brush their teeth at the blue basin there (in the old photo). Where have you shifted this to? I got a resale at Tiong Bahru and is also 3I improve, so wanted to 'copy' some of your design. ;D

I was comparing the info here: http://www.hdbloan.com/hdbbankloan/ and the package offered by HLF. 2-Year Fixed Rate Package 1.18% (Fixed) 1.68% (Fixed) 2.18% (HHR - 2.07%) For the same type, HLF seems better. Am I missing anything? I am not sure how they got numbers for the 3rd year though. Or should I be looking at fixed rates in the first place? or should i depend on the SIBOR to be low? p.s is legal subsidy the same for all bank? HLF giving 0.5% of loan up to $2000.

Just to clarify, this is only for the wooden door. The gate will still be locking using a regular lock, right? I was thinking the point of getting a digital lock was so that I don't have to carry keys... or just for extra security?
