Hi Jeanius I think I have to add something here, Knowledge is power, not to know is bad, not to wish to know is worse, to pretend to know when you dont know is even worst. You are trying to show off your linguistic skills which I can clearly see that you are lacking, you context is poor, your language flow and substance. The way you argued your way through shows immaturity in your personality. I might not have the time to deal with you in the day but I promised I will make time for you at night. If you want to say something here, make sure you have proof, prove that we are not honouring our words, prove that we have sub standard customer service. I understand that its cheap thrill to you, I consider it cheap thrill for me too. By replying to my customer's post urging them to distrusts us when they had already placed order with us shows what sort of person you are. Fortunately, they are discerning enough to know what you are driving at. To tackle people like you takes some time, believe me, you wont last here for long, your confidence will be corroded, your credibility wears off, you will be left alone. mark my words, if you were to change your approach maybe you will be more credible over here.

Hi daveyap I think Sam is a wise guy, he knows that there are warranty terms, under certain circumstances we make good of what is being covered. Sam is worried that we might be carrying things too far and might be carrying things that will be too much for us to handle. I think we are not making sense here, we warranty our products provided it is being cared for by our customers and it takes a no brainer to understand that they will have to take care of something which they loved and protect. In your case you used a leather conditioner which I think its not meant for semi aniline leather, you want the manufacturer to be responsible for it? You buy a car which is running on petrol but you pumped diesel into it and your car is under warranty, you damaged the engine, would you go back to the agent and told them that you used diesel for your car and as a result the engine is not working? In EL there are no warranty exclusion clauses, in fact its the reverse, we uses inclusion clauses, we spelt out everything in black and white under waht kind of circumstances your leather will be warrantied. our consumers understands and accepted that. I cannot see why our friend jeanius has a problem with that. The reason I do not want to share the clauses is because we are in business and in business, you do not make things easy for your competitor. lastly, we had a few cases, where our customers uses a very rough rag and detergent to cleanse their sofa, they literally scrubbed it and guess what? they colours faded instantly, they called us, we went down to take a look and out of good will we replaced the leather for them. They appreciate that, they knew that we didnt compromise the quality. If I were to remember it correctly, there were at least two cases like that. I think you guys must be thinking that what EL is offering is too good to be true, but I have to tell you, this is the kind of business model we embarked, we scrutinised, argue and decided that we should do our best for our customers. As I mentioned before, I live on a conviction that customers are more important than the organisation itselves. Therefore, within a year, we have the capability to open a mattress boutique which rides on the same ideology. There are many out there who will try to harm you, demolish you, smear your reputation. i will have to put up my knuckle dusters to fend them off. Fortunately, I have people like 1qqchen, phintastic, robster, shaik and many others whom posted here trusted and supported us. They are the ones who really make my day. Ultimately, its the thrill, fun and the challenges that feeds my conviction everyday when I go to work, they are given to me by people like them. I hope I answer your questions. Please feel free to post if you still have doubts. have a great day!
-
Hi jeanius Yes! maybe twins is interested in your sofa sets, dont tell me you doesnt want to increase your company profile and business volume? since yours is an honest and reliable company all the more you should protect them by selling good products to them.
-
Hi Jeanius Its hilarious, you are an expert in leather. You are correcting the incorrectness, in other words you are trying to play judge by your own experience and from what you think, you get your knowledge from the internet and claimed that you are an expert, I think let others judge if you are really an expert in this field. In this case we have different opinions. You are not trying to get people to buy from you over here is because you lack the ability. You daren't even tell us where do you come from and let us judge whether what you are saying is the truth. Whatever it is, its up to others to believe, however I dont think you sounded convincing, I am sure there will be others to point out your mistakes. If I were to err, I would apologised, in your case you will divert the topic by talking something which is irrelevant, that includes telling people about your company history and pay up capital. If you are a geniune businessman, you shoild know it doesnt matter how much pay up you have, it only matters if you have that amount in the bank right now. Based from all these, I reckoned that you are just a kid who might have just left school. I have much better things to do than to try to change your opinion, which I think you are an incorrigible, stubborn mule. You are free to write what you want in this forum, I hope you will be even more active so that the more you write the more you reveal your weaknesses.

Hi Jeanius Have you seen sooks posting? You do not have to worry, I told you.
-
Hi Jeanius May I know who is this wu ta lang you are refering to? Please define wu ta lang, I googled it and nothing came out. Maybe you can advise? I thought that everything can be found in the internet? Please post something with relevant topics. I thought your topic here is bovine leather and our warranty card?
-
Hi Jeanius I had replied to you just now that we cover leather upholstery for 5 years. I am not offended, I am being firm in my replies. Are there other things which you think you need to know other than the warranty? Let me correct you, geniune leather doesnt peel and we do not ask our customers to pay extra for reupholstery, as for details I do not think I have the obligations to share with you here. In your opinion, its merely sales talk, but let me tell you, its the company who make up the sales person and not the other way round. What kind of culture does the company have? The employees have to follow. I have mentioned umpteen times, maybe you missed it cos you are a newbie in this forum and my past postings had been deleted, its the customers are the key to company's existence. Its running in my veins, my conviction that we follow through with our customers regardless of the problems they faced regarding our products. One more thing I would like to share with you, our sales person will present and explain the terms of warranty to our customers before the sales is being closed. You do not have to worry about our customers being cheated or shortchanged by EL, if we were to do that you will see that our thread be flooded with negative reviews. The reason why you are here is because we are doing well and you were wondering how can that be, hence you are trying to find something to discredit us. You attempt to twist the facts that we uses bovine because of ambiguity reasons and accused us of using buffalo leather. Which in fact we are not wrong, it can be cow/cattle leather. You imply that by using the word bovine, we have something to hide. After that I told you that we uses cow/leather you keep harping on the our warranty. After that I told you that we honour what has been written on our warranty card, you claimed that we are a company who will closed down after one to two years. Base on all these written above, you think one cannot see what is your ulterior motive? All I can conclude is that your business are seriously affected by EL and you claimed that we are in a different league, so may I know which league are you in? Maybe you would like to share with us what kind of sofa you carry? the kind of material you used and the range of pricing. Afterwhich we can all determine if you are in a different league. Judging from the speed that you post, you are somebody who has simply nothing to do except to sit by the computer, waiting for me to reply. You thought that I will simply vanish from this forum? I have to thank you for making EL thread more and more popular, I am not ashame to tell our clients, go and read up in the forum before buying from us. Because I know, ultimately they will come to us with more confidence. Results shows, look at those satisfied customers who complimented us after delivery, name me one negative remark or rather name me one customer who post bad after sales service about us. After telling you all these maybe you will be obliged to share with us your company's name and let our fellow forummers judge for themselves. I bet you wont dare. Afterwhich you will have to rack your brains to tell me why you refuse? However let me tell you one thing, its the fear you have in yourself. Why dont you be like me, I uses the nick Executiveliving and not something else? What I say here represents the company, that really shows what is above and open board. What do you think my friend??
-
Hi Jeanius You do not have to worry, I believe sooks will definately share his experience with EL over here in the forum, its not the first time he has done this. There was a delay in delivery when I first interact with him and he did post our after delivery service. Hence you might want to check and see if there are any bad reviews in EL and you can go lalalalalala all over again. Hahahaha I am kinda of enjoying this more and more.
-
Hi Jeanius Being in this trade for more than a decade how many companies have you folded? A wolf crying wolf? It seems that you are the experience sort, so what have you benefit from opening and folding companies? Maybe you can share with me that kind of business model and let me analyse and see if its really profitable?
-
Sooks Its not termites, you can be assured of that, they are probably harmless wood beetles. nevertheless I had send our guys to be at your place tomorrow. If indeed as what you mentioned, we will replace the framework for you.
-
Hi Jenius I think you dont read strait times did you? In all our advertisments we will have all these selling points, customization, 5 year warranty. Please get your facts right before shooting off relentlessly. If EL is not your competitor, why are you so interetsed in us? The more you try to hide, the more you reveal yourself. I welcome your opinions, but the way that you did simply shows that you are not objective in your posting, you try to discredit Executive Living instead of sharing your knowledge you are harping on our warranty terms. All you want to know are those terms so that there are more for you to post, you will twist the facts and mislead our potential buyers. That is your motive. Thank youvery much,EL need people like you so we have more to show.
-
Hi Sam I am glad that you are back, I have been kinda missing you. Alright let me tell you what I think, I am looking forward in 5 years time as well. In EL we are treading where no one dares to go. Its uncharted waters, by the way a good leather sofa will last beyond 5 years. You should know better than me.
-
Hi Jeanius Being a competitor I know what you are up in your sleeves, What I want to let you know that we cover our leather upholstery for FIVE YEARS. Is that what you want? You want details, come to our show room be a mystery buyer and you will get what you want to know. I am not going to do it in the forum. come down and we will show you what is warranty in EL. Buy a sofa from us and we will show you what kind of after sales service standards EL has. It might take years before you can really catch up. Seeing your posts, I know what kind of personality that you possess.
-
Hi Jeanius I think you are insulting my clients, I believe all of them are living off much more better than you. Most of your statement doesnt make sense. You will not succeed in whatever you think you are going to do over here.
-
Hi Jeanius Now I undertsand the term, empty vessel makes the most noise. If a company is going to fold, what does a warranty card counts? But why does a company fold? you have to understand the fundamentals behind. By the way, what you are saying over here is way out of context, you are not replying directly to maxxypane thread. You are trying to convince people not to believe in Executive Living. If we are doing things which is open and above board, do you think we will be afraid of people like you are trying so hard to demolish the trust that our customer's have in us? Buyers beware? beware from every company except yours? Is that what you are trying to say?
-
Dear maxxypane Ultimately, its still trust that our customers will have for us. In EL we will never betray that trust. Its in my conviction, there is no Executive Living without customers.
-
Hi Jeanius I think you are trying to show your knowledge by postiong Latin here. However, I think its not in context.
-
Hi Jeanius If you were to read carefully what I posted, I meant that our warranty card and brochure is not in Queen's English. Therefore a layman will understand what is being written. I think your business is being affected greatly by EL that is why I can see where you are coming from. Sad to say that your compnay, being slightly more than 10 years in business and with half a million paid up is trying to tarnish the brand name of its competitor, doubting in the credibilty of its competitor. I can see that EL really hurts you a lot. Please understand bovine means cow, cowlike, oxen or buffalo, you name it, am I wrong to say that its bovine leather? Furthermore you claimed that we uses split leather for our sofa sets which I think only a fool will do that if you were to stay in business for long, I am sad that you do not know these facts before posting, did you know that split leather which lacks tensile strength is not suitable for seats and back cushions cover? Seeing all the wonderful things about Executive Living, are you green with envy? Which wu ta lang are you refering to? I am the Business Development Manager of Executive Living and I create and set the business model, which so far we are doing very well with our supportive clients support, we managed to thrive. Anyone who makes baseless accusation without substantiating it with facts in the forum, I will pull no punches. I will fight tooth and nail to overturn what has been said. Nevermind the boss, if he is a bad boss I will be affected and not you, why should you worry? You can refer back to my earlier posting with Samtheman, he pointed out our mistakes, we corrected them. In EL, we have nothing to hide, we are always keeping an inquisitive mind and welcome any feedback and suggestions. I am very sure, action speaks louder than words. Our customers gives very good rating on EL. Our warranty card is meant for our clients, these ladies and gentleman are no fools, many of them are high net worth clients, if you think you can easily fool them into buying a sofa from you by just producing a warranty card, why dont you try to do it? HAHA maybe you are trying to trick me into posting our warranty card in the forum so that you can replicate it to use it in your business? Please do not attempt its intellectual property rights my friend. I hope all these answers your doubt as you will be wondering why are you slapping so hard in your own face by posting unsubstantied statements and comments in EL's thread.

Is Castilla A Reputable/reliable Brand For Sofas?
Executiveliving replied to musingaway's topic in Home Furnishings
Hi musingaway Top grain has more tensile strength it is suitable for seats and back cushion coverings where they are more supcetible to pressure (the weight of sitting on it), thus will not crack easily. As for split leather its the part where the it is more fibrous hence lesser tensile strength (less elasticity) thus will the possibility of the leather cracking is higher. However, in a top/split full leather, means the seats and backrests cushion coverings will be using top and the rest which is not likely to be sat on will be using split. Its hard to differentiate by the naked eye to a layman however, you can feel the difference by touching it, they have very different feel. Lastly, most leather in the market are corrected grain, that means the texture of the leather is artificial, in other words, you can do crocodile prints on leather as well. I hope that answers your questions. -
Hi Jeanius Thank you for your comments, your intention is greatly appreciated. In general, our customers has no problems when we explain the warranty terms to them. We handle things one at a time and take it as it is, we do not argue or shortchange our customers. During the course of our business for the past year, we had some feedbacks regarding the uqality of our products, I cannot say that we are perfect, but we do take the responsibility to settle their problems. We do not leave them in lurch. I hope you understand that, there are people out there who are trying to be Queen's Counsel picking out word for word that I had posted or had reflected them in our brochures (which is not in Queen's English) afterwhich they will try to post their opinion in this forum and in some cases, twisted facts or misconception and I will have to start all over again to explain which I think I am not going to do it again. EL's reputation in this forum speaks for it self, I dont have to do it alone, we have our fans, as well as critics, thise who doubted us can refer back to those past posting and not look at my posting but what others have in mind of us. I think that is more important. Like I say, you are right to say that bovine means Oxlike, buffalo, cattle. In this sense I meant cow/cattle leather, if I am misleading, I would like to apologise for that. I welcome you to visit our show room so that you can take a look at our products and our warranty terms, I would say that our terms are quite comprehensive. I cant think of any companies that offers warranty for their upholsteries including Italian ones. In fact we have an Italian company ,Vacggari who wanted to work with us, they too do not offer warranty. However, they do offer a certificate of quality. That is most that they can give. As for the lifespan of the company, I cannot comment on that it will depend on the various factors, management, products, market forces etc, etc. Do you know how long will your company last? If you know that its a norm for companies to change management, do you still work for them? I am not hiding anything, and there is nothing to hide, our business is open and aboveboard. You as our competitor are trying disrupt the trust that our customers are having in us. However, it doesnt really matter, our past records shows, all you have to do is to read through the pages n this forum. Lastly, I was suspended early this month as I did advertise in this forum for Plush Mattress Boutique. I had seen others doing it and I was just trying my luck, Lo and Behold. I was banned for 5 days!! The most painful thing is that my past replies were all gone. Your questions to me are intangible, only track record and time will tell, like I mentioned before, s long as I am around I will be here to to defend the integrity and reputation of Executive Living.

Is Castilla A Reputable/reliable Brand For Sofas?
Executiveliving replied to musingaway's topic in Home Furnishings
Hi musingaway Looking at the pricing, yours is likely to be top/split full leather. Nevertheless you can always go back to the sales person and confirm what kind of leather that you are getting, if they says its Top full and you can make them commit in black and white then it would be good, I would say you got a very good deal for this unit. I am more concern about the sofa that you will recieve, in other words if they were to deliver a top/split sofa to you would you be able to differentiate? -
Is Castilla A Reputable/reliable Brand For Sofas?
Executiveliving replied to musingaway's topic in Home Furnishings
Hi musingaway From your descricption, I can think most likely you are getting a top/split full leather sofa. Price is quite reasonable. However if its an electrical recliner then I would say its good value for money. -
It is the topper that makes the difference.
-
In that case Ithink we cant compared the pricing. Ultimately, I think its good value for money as long as you are comfortable with it Right?

Executiveliving replied to musingaway's topic in Home Furnishings
Hi Musingaway You have not mentioned the length of your sofa, maybe you can share with us so that we can gauge from there.
