  1. I would opt for glass with frosted white. Then can have decal on the panels.
  2. Normally your ID would have included it (like general cleaning) in your contract...
  3. Try google it? There are quite a few. Not sure about leather... Mine was fabric and I asked them to replaced the cushion (to more firm). I did the repair few years back, think mine was 3-4 hundred dollars.
  4. There are soooo many ways the ID or contractor can "robert" you if they want... They can give you discount here and there, and eventually give you some under par worksmanship and quality, if that's the case, I would rather pay more. Cos, I may be staying there for good. To me, most important, is worksmanship, quality, after-service support, warranty.
  5. Your stainless steel basin is under warranty? Can I know the brand? Cos I also just bought one. I think the only way to permanently remove rust, is to polish off the rust and re-coat... Brasso can remove the rust, but it may also remove the anti rust coating. If that happens, the rust will re-surface even much more.
  6. In order to hide cables, usually people will hide them in the false ceiling... Can consider an inverted "T"? The horizontal side will be your TV console, the vertical side for mounting your TV panel. Try not to have a solid feature wall, unless your living hall is huge...
  7. Btw, mine are louver windows. Wondering if need to hack wall tiles, in order to install the ventilation fan?
  8. Google images? You might wana visit ID firms and take a look at their photo albums... Online photos are limited.
  9. After renovating twice (experienced... haha), i kinda know that there are too many ways each Reno firm can charge us. Choose firms that have CASE-trust reputation. Most importantly, you get your end-product with satisfaction (worksmanship) and of coz, within your budget.
  10. I guess it's better to be installed by contractor as they have the knowledge to bring the best out of the product, i.e the soft closing effect.
  11. No trying to advertise... http://www.swingslide.com.sg/gallery_glass.html Just a random Google search will lead you to this. Bear in mind that Glass doors are never cheap. But I still prefer Glass door as I can add decals to them and change the look / design, once in a while.
  12. I recommend that you go to reno firms that have certified installers. The firms must send their carpenter to attend Blum lessons on installation. Firms that have certified installers will have blum decal @ their shop front. To me, no offence to anyone, I certainly don't wish to allow, non-certified carpenter to do the installation. Just in case they screw things up. My new place is oso under reno now and I'm using various types of Blum hinges.
  13. Where can I find Hansgrohe and grohe products besides their showroom?
  14. My opinion... Have to maintain if you plan to get the white powdered coated window and grilles. No joke.
  15. I'm getting my keys soon... but have yet to locate an ID firm for my Reno. My new place is a resale 5 rm @ sengkang. As I am moving from my current place to this new place, I have very fixed time line for this reno, perhaps 5 weeks max... Just wondering if Reno work with all these are possible? - hacking and re-tiling of Kitchen + 2 bathrooms - Existing marble flooring in Living and bed rooms, just require polishing. - Electrician for whole house - Carpentry works for whole house (feature wall(s) + 2 wardrobes + TV console + kitchen cabinets) - Painting of whole house
