So pls dont be so creative on my house can? can or not? I am sure these are left over by the carpentry workers. Initially I wanted to try to see if I can erase them, but then I thought why should i be cleaning up after them when it is going to happen again? Thanks for dropping by Angelbutterfly and appreciate your kind words I engaged Outlook, and specifically the ID because of someone's recommendation so I was not even choosing them because of the price factor. In fact, I wouldn't say their quotes are low but it is still within my budget as long as everything is proceeding accordingly and that the workmanship is good.

ID just msged if I am at the house and if they can go replace the tiles? There was a tile which was not laid properly and you will feel it raised higher than the rest when your foot/feet is/are over that area. When I pointed this out to them yesterday, tiler immediately said ya ya must replace one, and said this tile prossible got stepped on corner when it was still setting.. he said coz it is at an area which people will definitely walk past one, replacing it is a must.. and today i mentioned this again, and now he is going back to replace it.. responsible tiler at work

So sleepy and tired and zonked out for awhile after coming back from the house. Got disturbed by UOB credit officer asking me if I got time and interested to hear abt funds transfer promotion. I wanted to ask her back if she got time and interested in hearing abt my reno ? wahaha Anyway, 2 missed called from same number and I called back, aircon uncle nearby fernvale liao and I asked him to meet me. He came with the remotes, instruction manual, batteries and said payment can wait till i move in and also to call him to visit the house so he can demo and explain how to clean the aircon This is the right attitude, not thinking about $$$ all the time...

Yah loh, shifu said 1-3 move in and cannot miss this time liao, but mon and tues still need to take leave to unpack some and settle in my cats.. I just wish they will do a good job, today my defects photos are a lot, paint stains on floor tiles, cracks, missing parts, ink or oil stains on the laminates etc .. the ID was here today but never bothered to check.. Also she never once said she is sorry for causing all this trouble!

Just back from the house. Indeed the boss kept his promise, the house was cleaned thoroughly and he sent the ID who came with her hubby to come cover all the furniture with sheets. This should have been done earlier, and not wait until I opened my mouth then do.. but nonetheless, apart from delaying the completion, the boss did do his part on whatever he can and swiftly too. Good that Outlook does have a top guy who is kan cheong abt his reputation. Boxes from storage, these are not all of it After pumping out all the water from the water feature, I went around taking pics on 'defects' and sent all of them to the ID. Aircon man just called me informing me that he is at the coffee shop nearby and wanted to handover the remote controls etc to me. Said ID told him to come today coz I will be around. Basket la, macam I whole day stay there with all the sheets covered doing nothing izzit ? I really donno what the ID is thinking man

Good and bad news! Shifu said another date is this sunday 1-3pm! But cannot miss this date liao! (I think the next one will be quite far away)

No idea man... shifu was outside when we were having the conversation. He told me that there suppose to be another date in a few days but he can't be sure yet so will let me know after he checked at nite. Didn't rec his sms or call... IF there is a date coming up which is a wkday, it doesn't mean we can take this date and move in. We all got our work commitments plus my brother part time study and all the common tests coming up. He took the trouble to invite a monk to chant at the house for us, its a good thing all these happened today, if happened tomorrow, i really dunno how to face him... As I am abt to post this, shifu actually smsed me back! said next luck day 30.06.11 and told me must make sure they finish by this time. Looks like wont be so easy, coz the company said will finish everything by end of Thurs 30.06.11. d-a-m-n it. Already updated shifu and asked for next 2 available dates. Did you know in order for me to take this Mon till Thurs leave, I had to work so hard and rush out all the work like h-e-l-l, how are they going to make up for this? My ID msged me just now, asking when the boxes will be delivered tomorrow but no mention of any other things.

Hmmmm thank you for the sympathies, after ranting I do feel much better. It's good to blog about it, just to get it out of the system. Tomorrow boxes will be delivered from storage to new place, with the furniture already there, and the workers still need space to work on Thursday, i really dunno where to put all my barang barang. Hopefully tom I will go to a house which is clean. Jason the boss did promise me that he has arrange to send his cleaner down to clean up for me. I have to say throughout this, he is a calm man with reason. But that didn't help much with all the aftermath / mess I had to pick up because of the delay. Some readers might wondered 'how can plan things so nicely one', I just have to say this is a lesson learnt, being too trusting will be one's downfall and believing everything that is being promised is naive. Did you see my D-I-Y water feature filled with water? Tomorrow I have to pump it out, macam I got nothing better to do.. but no choice since wont be living there for the time being and i certainly dont want to breed mozzies.. The water feature is beside the main entrance, with the workers going in and out of my house, one false move and the 3 stands will literally go do re mi tumbling down.. hmmm my brother read my post earlier, and said "it's normal to be angry, but cool down and dont be so emotional and get so upset with them, the most impt thing is to do the reno well, later they stop everything how?" I wondered how he would react if his precious water feature is destroyed by them accidentally... oh man.. i m being a mean sister today
