Hi, as above. I went NTUC and Giant and they don't sell the mould though they sell the jelly powder. Any idea where I can get the mould? TIA!

I clean strand by strand, I find it ok, just that have to be a bit more careful. My chandelier considered small so I don't really find it tiring. Furthermore, I don't know how to put it back even if I know how to bring it down. Don't think I will buy the spray even if there's such a thing cos the dust will fly all over the floor, making it even harder to clean up the place later on. My current glass cleaner works fine for now

Wah seh you all very creative leh! Nice work!

Not sure about R958 leh cos I straightaway bought R888F cos recommended by my friend, so I didn't go and recee other brands too....

It's not easy to bring down the chandelier, especially if yours is a big one. It's going to be very heavy also, you won't want to risk shattering the crystals. I used normal glass cleaner to wipe my chandelier and I think it does a good job cos my crystals shine like new after that. Just have to tediously clean the crystals one by one. I've also nvr heard of such a spray, how to know if it does a clean job? You won't know if it's good cos you can't see the dust and dirt anyway.

Ya confirmed. It even has roast function. Steam function is one of the sensor cook functions. I haven't tried any of the functions yet, except defrost though The good thing is that it is not very big so doesn't take up too much space. For so many functions, I find it rather compact.

Walton seems to be very active nowadays. Me and my hubby were at a hawker center having our meal when the lady whom we were sharing our table with suddenly asked us if we had heard of Walton. She then went on to explain the benefits that we can expect to reap by investing with them blah blah blah and then kept persuading us to attend the talk that they will be holding. We just smiled and said we were not interested. She didn't get the hint and went on and on like Duracell bunny. We were quite pissed off cos after a day's work, the last thing we want to hear is someone trying to hardsell us something. I've always had this impression that Walton functions like an MLM. Sorry to say, I don't have a good opinion of them and is quite doubtful. Perhaps if they hadn't been so hardsell, I would have been more convinced.

I bought Sharp R888F, costs 338 from Maximum Credit. My friend used this and she recommended this model to me. It has grill, bake, steam, microwave and defrost function.

We were considering Four Seasons initially too. I simply love their ballroom. Have heard comments that the food there was good. Pricing's a bit steep though. Goodwood, my hubby attended wedding there before and he found it quite cramped and ceiling low, not sure about food. Mandarin was ok except for the low ceiling. Hyatt has pillars and low ceiling and ballroom doesn't look as grand On the topic of food, one man's meat is another man's poison, so this is really a subjective issue. You can't please everybody cos he/she sure has different opinions on the food, so go with your feeling and budget. Ya by now, most hotels would have been fully booked for 08. Some hotels even take bookings for 2009 already. Still, there's no harm in calling to ask!

-
ehh u very li hai ah...then i take yours and exchange with kat??
-
Hm....on a separate note, just wana say that the so-called "normal" photos doesn't refer to those type "one piece one piece take out to see kind". It simply means full page photo without other photo add-ins. U think you take the photos in China meh?? nowadays where got bridal shop dare to give you one piece take out to see kind and charge you that ridiculous price?!?! U think they stupid or u think they think we stupid willing to pay for such photos?!? If u get such photos, i think you really dio tok katvolution, my AD also in Feb! Will be getting my album in Dec....i think normal waiting time is 2months plus for album to be ready ba...
-
I wana see too!! hehe...i v kpo katvolution, we exchange see see!!

But I nvr see your album layout mah.. See layout and photos different one leh...
-
Ehh I want to see leh!! I like to see wedding albums one...hehe...

Ya digital is the same as magazine style. I dun understand what is meant by "digital means the photos are printed on and unlike the normal type with one piece one piece". Actually hor, I dun understand that entire reply at all.
-
Dun worry lah. You are not the only one spending so much on photos. I've got friends who spent 5-6k on photos alone, got one spent 10k alone on photos...can u imagine?!?! I think for most of us, it's because budget constraints...if not, i would also like to top up many many...after all, this is once in a lifetime thing. SPend liao then dun think so much le...enjoy the outcome of your photos can le

I bought SS16i. Haven't tried it yet but my colleague who got it same time as me used it and said it's very good cos she uses it to steam everything. Clothes won't be very straight but for ladies clothings, this is more than enough. Guys shirts still need to conventional iron though.

Hi Katvolution, ya I agree it's very hard to resist topping up photos no matter how much determination you got once you see the shots. I also tried veyr very hard not to top up any cos budget budget, but in the end still topped up a few more. Here's my contribution: 1) On the average, how many photos are you entitled to in your bridal package? We were entitled to 30 full page photos altogether, 20 digital, 10 normal full page. One big bedhead framed photo and 2 8R size photos. One small 4R size album. 2) How many photos had you top up for? We topped up 7 photos, 2 digital, 5 normal. 3) What is the amount you top up for the extra photos? 600. One digital photo costs us about $95, normal full page about $75. Very ex and on tight budget so 600 is actually quite alot for us....

hmm...really huh? ok...at least I know i'm not the only one...hehe.... okok...help me add more oil then....no harm adding more...hehe... Bo bi i pass my ATT....but the test is only in Jan next year cos i registered as private candidate...very long leh...sianz...some more very close to my AD....stress until mad...and now is no longer shading circles with pencils kind...now is electronic one...straightaway know pass or fail....when come to pressing the SUBMIT button, more stressed....it's do or die!! Sorry, I little bit paranoid one..

Thanks for the encouragement applefreak. You all very sweet !! Another thing i'm worried about is blind spot cos my hubby kena many times, he had to last minute brake hard becuase he couldn't see the blind spot....one time almost hit an oncoming car and that car was going really fast...can't imagine if we really hit it, what would become of us today....my heart nearly popped out that time... Hmm..maybe i think too much liao hor....advance haven't taken worry this worry that....haha...
