But but but.....what if it's not?!? !! Very slow day at work too...ok i share mine too... I used to hear weird sounds at my old house too. We always believed that area to be unclean. Next to our old house was a jungle. There was once my cousins and aunties came to my house then afternoon, they went inside the jungle to pick durians. My cousin then said she saw a white figure carrying a baby. They all ran out. I shared the room with my grandma and one of my cousins one night. In the middle of the night, I was awoken by a loud hammering sound. I initially thought it was my next door neighbour, so i dismissed it and went back to sleep. The sound became louder and louder and I could hear that it was moving nearer and nearer to me. I totally freaked out man! I awoke my grandma but she was too sleepy and told me to go back to sleep. How to go back to sleep!? Even though there were people in the room, I still felt cold chills down my spine. I lied there wide-eyed for a while, then felt a bit tired and was slowly drifting off to sleep. All of a sudden, I hear what sounded like someone rubbing his palms together on the left side of my bed. On my left was what sounded like a cricket. I sat up and shook my grandma hard. She again dismissed me and went back to sleep. My cousin slept like a pig. The next day, I told my parents and asked if my grandma heard anything the last night. She said she didn't. My parents tried to convince me that it was the sound of the fridge ( ) Another incident at my old house was related to me by my parents. My brother's room was adjacent to their room. One very early morning, my parents awoke to a very loud door knocking sound. Upon listening carefully, they concluded it was knocking at my bro's room. My mum was so afraid. She hid behind my dad while my dad opened the door to check it out. The moment he opened his bedroom door to peep, the sound stopped immediately. My brother had also seen a green mass floating beside his cupboard one time in the middle of the night. He told it not to disturb him and went back to sleep. We've since moved out. It was so eerie there that I felt uncomfortable each time I stepped into the house. Glad we shifted eventually.

Actually i do hear ticking sounds sometimes in the middle of the night too....but maybe cos midnight, everything's dead still, even the slightest sound seems loud....i put my clock to my ear and the ticking sound isn't the same leh....then i conclude is lizard...must be lizard....and so i slp peacefully...

Could it be the clock ticking??

Ok since you already paid for it, then just wait for your album to be ready and enjoy looking through it lah. Understand your ranting but no point regretting. Just shrug it off and wait with anticipation for your album. I'm sure it's worth it. 10 years, 20 years down the road, you take out the album, you will feel that luckily, you had selected so many photos then, so much fond memories. Youth, once gone, will never come back. Just enjoy.

I agree with you that this is once in a lifetime so definitely will be tempted to top up alot for photos but if your main concern has always been keeping to budget, shouldn't you maintain a firm stand? If you already know it's daylight robbery, why you still willingly pay?? They take so many photos also complain, take not enough photos also complain. What to do?? Actually your package of 36 photos is considered alot already, it's your decision later that you had wanted to top up more. My package only allow me 30 photos. If you think "'wow this nice, that one nice, almost everyone nice' " and $$ is a concern, you should have selected the elimination process...."'wow this nice but that one nicer so I take that instead" then you wouldn't rave and rant abt how much extra you paid for your photos. And come on, it's no secret that bridal shops are out to tok us, but how much they can tok out of you depends on you. I find it a joke that you willingly top up so much then whine about how the bridal shop is charging you for the photos. Funny.

After all, it's once in a lifetime thing. How many chances in your lifetime do you get to wear wedding gown and nice nice take photo?? Only one lah...choy choy!! Touch wood...

No wonder...I put amulet under my pillow so I'm surprised how come still got such thing...but hor, i still chose to believe the scientific reasoning lah cos i dun feel uncomfortable when i'm alone at home leh... I dun even dare watch horror movie cos my imagination sure run wild for many months...think my last horror movie was sixth sense leh..

Ya lor, one would already know what to expect from bridal shops so this is no surprise. It just hv to depend on your determination. We would also like to top up a few more photos if we had more budget but too bad Side track abit, katvolution, found your JP already or not?

Scientific explanation states that () when one is too tired and go to sleep, the body relaxed itself totally up to the point where the brain wakes up before the body does. That's why you are consciously able to know that you already want to wake up but your body doesn't move.

Hmm...but they didn't force you to top up one mah, if you are firm, you wouldn't have topped up any. It's funny to me hw you can be angry with the bridal shop when it's up to your discretion whether you want to top up the photos or not. If you think the price of one photo is expensive then don't top up lah. Even if want, also don't top up so much. They didn't force a knife down your throat to ask you to top up to 2k right?? I don't think it's fair to put all the blame on the bridal shop. To be fair, all bridal shops charge cut-throat prices for additional photos. It's up to you how much you want to pay for the additional photos and whether you are willing to pay that price.

Ya I also hv this problem with my computer. When it is shutting down, the last few seconds the previous wallpaper will pop out... I also experienced this a few times. Once in my parents' home, once in my new home. My new home one really spooked me out. I was napping in the afternoon alone at home, then i remembered as i was trying to wake up, i couldn't move. I also can't breathe...it was almost like i'm dying. I remembered chanting prayers but that didn't help either. I also remembered opening my eyes for a few seconds to look at my clock, it was 3.30pm. I wanted very much to wake up, I tried to turn my body but it just wouldn't move. I remembered I was so desperate in trying to wake up that I felt so exhausted when I finally did. I don't know if i was dreaming but it seemed so real. I can still recall so vividly in my mind. After that, I don't dare to nap alone in the house anymore. I told my hubby but he told me the scientific explanation, I chose to believe that cos I didn't want to freak out in my new home, not especially since we've only moved in for a week! He told me that I must be stronger than "those things" cos they are more afraid of us than we are of them.

Oonik girl, I had pre-wedding jitters like you too. Used to lay in bed thinking if I had made the right choice. Sometimes I even thought that we might have rushed into marriage. There was one time I almost freaked out and suggested to my then bf (now hubby) that we call off the whole thing, I just wasn't sure that he was the one for me and I for him. Now, looking back, I think all of us can't be 100% sure. We have ROM-ed a few months back but even till now, the thought of calling off our customary wedding will sneakily creep into my mind. A few times, I cried before going to sleep because I really regretted signing that lifetime bond. I thought to myself that perhaps I haven't gotten used to marriage life yet and didn't know what to expect. I give myself time to slowly get used to it and stop those destructive thoughts. Focus on what's ahead than wasting time to think abt the what-ifs.

I used to have a colleague who eats the same meal everyday to slim down. She has yong tau foo for lunch everyday and somehow it works. She did slim down quite a bit but i think it's rather unhealthy cos you are not getting enough nutrients from eating the same thing everyday. I still think the best way is to eat healthily and have regular exercise. Even if one is on the plump side, he/she still looks radiant, not thin and look gaunt.

But my experience so far so good leh...quite pleased with their service...when we went to select our photos, they didn't hard sell us, in fact, the girl just lets us choose without pressuring us to top up any...in the end, we topped up cos we really like some of the photos...I didn't go to Frxxx bridal cos read many bad reviews from them so we didn't even want to bother going there and waste our time... Haha I think all bridal shops are money suckers, offering you attractive packages but it's the topping up of photos that really kills you...just hv to be firm and maintain your stand...they can't force you to top up any if you stand your ground...

Just had a peep out my window, saw the green block, actually ok lah...it's not those very bright green, it's a very light apple green so still look ok.... Ya lor, why can't they just choose simple colours and stop experimenting with awful colours?? Why can't they just repaint the colours the same as those in senja Link....the colours there were Haiz...really colour blind leh they all...
