Mine was arount 5.45 - 6pm....ya not much things to brief on that day...the coordinator will just brief you on the sequence of events, then what time recep must be there to receive guests, when to take up all the stuff up to the hotel room....so actually hubby there or not doesn't matter cos he doesn't have to do anything....so no need worry whether your hubby will make things haywire

Wah 4.30 abit early leh ah nia... wait all wait around, by the time dinner starts, your emcess would be v tired liao... no need so much time for rehearsal one...if you are afraid that there's not enough time to start rehearsing, you can ask your emcees to rehearse the speech on their own first....not necessarily hv to go up stage to do so...be fleixble..... ya agree with fif.....xinyi, loosen up a bit...u are too uptight liao....on that day, i'm sure things will go as planned one....some more the hotel has hosted one too many banquet events, so if there's not enough time, i think they would let u know.....dun worry lah....

if got chance and your emcees can make it for the rehearsal then why not?? I think it's a good opportunity cos most of the time, hotels will just tell you no need rehearsal... Anyway, if cannot also nvm, cos that day your emcees and hlpers sure arrive very early at the hotel, after the hotel manager briefed them, they can start to rehearse already....there's more than enough time to do so...if not, ask your banquet mgr to bring forward thr briefing session so that your emcess got more time to rehearse...that's what we did too...

ya lor...ehh xinyi, your wedding is very drama one izt?? No need rehearsal one lah...on that day, the coordinators will brief u how to march in, how the groom should hold your gown, how to hold hands etc.....impromptu one...no need rehearsal lah..

I think elderly ppl are like that one....my parents also....last min can tell me, err...why not dun invite so and so lah... If dun invite, how come can tell me so confidently how many tables they want in the 1st place!? I also blew my top the last time....think it's just a normal phase for couples to go through...having to deal with indecisive parents....ask him to just send the invite and ask him to remind his guests on the date and be there.....whether they last min chu pattern u can't control also.....

That's what I thought so too leh... Ok lor....but then now u got to let all your relatives and friends know your wedding cancelled leh....more work for you like that Issue like your sister is beyond your control. You can't change the way she is, you can't change her character. So why fret so much over it? 2 weeks left...not alot of time but still enough time for last min changes. Channel your energy to more pressing issues. ya lor me too...last few days even worse....start to get nightmares what if things don't go as planned... My hubby....sigh...I quarrelled with him all the way...not only till the last few weeks of our wedding

ya that's what i thought too..unfortunately, i keep on dragging and dragging my stay here in my current company....will definitely start looking out after my 2 weeks leave.. No lah...such things happen to alot of ppl, just that you don't know of it nia... Ppl get frustrated over different things mah..think of it this way, you shd be glad that you have a lot of friends who are more than willing to extend a helping hand in your wedding, you don't have to rely entirely on your sister...so your situation is not that dire....for other ppl who don't have close friends or siblings to help them then how? Die meh?? Don't be too bothered by it lah...there are more impt issues to focus on at this point..

She's still young lah...so don't understand the urgency and importance of such things...dun stress over it too much...just make sure your friends understand can le...your sis is just one person....she doesn't represent your entire entourage of your bros and sis...as long as your bros and sis know their individual responsibilities ok le... I also want to throw...but considering my 2 weeks leave that i need to take in October...i lun first...after that, wait for next yr bonus then throw....haiz...seems like neverending story...
