Yes Ikea's stainless steel will rust and will rust like mad.....dun save on this for your bathroom...song cho has good stainless steel stuff...can check it out....

For anything, of course stainless steel is the best. Chrome will rust....in bathroom where there's alot of moisture, stainless steel would be best.

I suppose the paint will come off after a few yrs lah...but also depends on how you maintain it...no hard scrubbing....but it's actually quite a thick coat of epoxy coating...so i think short term shouldn't have any problem......2 bathrooms ah.....hmmm....my total cost for entire kitchen walls and floor, 2 toilet walls and floors plus tile groutline whitening **** room is 3.4K....we requested for matt finishing for our toilet walls so need to top up abt $150 per wall....if not, it's the standard gloss wall finish..

Wow seems like your furniture quite high end leh....glass skeleton chandeliers look more class whereas metal skeleton looks tougher.....i've got a metal skeleton chandelier though i like glass ones...but no choice, the one we like doesn't come in glass skeleton... Wah glass chairs not cheap leh...some more...feeling like not very sturdy when you sit on it leh.....acrylic chairs you mean like louis ghost kinda chair?? Not cheap .....why didn't you look for dining tables that comes with chairs?? Actually these bunch of ppl who say smoking makes one alert, slim blah blah are a bunch of stupid fools. Smoking makes you look gaunt, less alert and sometimes even retarded. I've a cousin who smokes like duno how many packs a day then when you talk to her, she stared at you with a blank stare, then few mins later, she will ask, what did you ask me har? The stench from her breath is horrible, I tell you. I simply abhore smoking. Ppl who smoke too much have very dark eye rings and their face looks devoid of colour. I believe in exercising to keep slim, that is how you get a healthy glow on your face. What good is smoking making you slim when you look like a walking corpse?? I have nothing against smokers, just stupid, brainless smokers.

All my room doors are Congo brown....but forgot it's from nippon or ICI liao....it's a very rich dark brown which I think the overall effect is not bad...can consider?

Me don't understand too...then again, smokers would also think, why don't ppl smoke? I simply love the smell of smoke...just like the theory of durians....very subjective...only wish that these smokers would be more considerate and not blow their 2nd hand smoke to non-smokers....after all, more ppl die from 2nd smoke than 1st hand one....it's so unfair....

Me from non-smoker family too. Simply hate those boey zi dong smokers who blow smoke in your face. Is it legal to smoke in the storeroom? If it's not, I suggest you bring it up to the building mgmt. After all, this might cause fire hazzard. Since your colleague doesn't bother about other ppl's feelings, then no need to bother with his.

Ya agree that you won't know your partner's living habits until you start living with them. I've been with my bf for 5 yrs+ already and all those while, I haven't really noticed the bad habits he had. Now that we decided to spend the rest of our lives together, I began to slowly discover his little habits and seriously trying to grow used to it. As for the ang moh thingy, I've thought the same with u too but hey! The grass is always greener on the other side!
