It's not about retaining 20% trust. Retain for what!?! It's definitely not for self-protection either. I've seen enough of men fooling around, happened to my relatives, my close friends.and it's not a one or two cases..tell me, when you are surrounded by such events so often, how to expect me to have 100% trust for men?? Even men whom I thought will remain faithful to their other halves forever betrayed the women closest to them. Not that I have anything against men, just that I don't have the heart to trust any man 100%. I don't think I ever will too. I love my fiance but I do not go around suspecting him of having an affair. I have not gone to that extreme and I hope I never will.

Thanks Ya lor...Mr Segarian told me he could see through to the inside of my flat from his unit so it's very very near.... My fiance told me the park leads to the park at bangkit road there...duno how true...nvr tried walking...after we've moved in, we might try walking the whole stretch though....will be going there often for morning run Duno 26K ok or not leh...but i suppose it's average lah....but probably could be lower since it's a premium unit and we don't have to do the flooring...but along the way, grew more and more greedy, added more and more items....so costs ballooned more and more also lor...

My reno cost 23K+....plus spray painting is about 26K....me staying blk 475...directly opposite your block...

I believe in the 80-20 trust method too. Though my fiance kept reassuring me that he can swear he will never be unfaithful, I hve my doubts, not now but maybe n future...who knows what may happen... He's a nice guy and treats me very well but I've told him straight that I will never trust him 100%....abit harsh but I believe in protecting myself first cos in any scenario, women will always be at the losing end. That said, of course I do not suspect his every move...if not, i will be very bz...

icic...no wonder your reno cost so high...ya we can't stand seeing the HDB's colours too....i would rather they give us white plain tiles for everything.....they had to make it look "pretty"...can't stand them...

oh i've seen the showflat at blk 471...to us, the toilets are so much better than ours....some more your pipings are just little bit on top ...ours are 2 big big pipes lor...take up so much space...make the toilets look very cramped also....but how come your reno costs 35k? U hacked the toilets and floorings? Ya my kitchen tiles cannot make it too....i sprayed it to a different colour cos no budget to hack.....

Hi Oonik girl, I'm using power dekor...can see the pics in my blog....for the platform in my living room also power dekor....my opinion is texture is definitely better than supreme as supreme's laminate flooring tends to be too smooth....so result might turn out to be quite flat...but that's my personal opinion lah... Agree with tingshen that you have to go down to their showrooms and see for yourself

U staying at blk 475 right? How come got pink toilet tiles?? Mine is MBR ark blue toilet bowl, floor and wall tiles and my common toilet is dark brown leh..hated them too...had to spend money to spray the tiles....stupid h*b....can't they just give us normal simple tiles....mine still got flower motifs some more...wana faintz....my kitchen wall tiles also got picture of kettle and flower....curse and swear

The disco balls curtains can be found at Molecule...i got mine from there...got it at 20% discount....retail price was $40+......It's 1m in width...

Yup agree curtains can add mood to a room.... Your full length windows means ppl from opposite block can see your full body but you can only see their half body right....not fair not fair....

Ya lor...cos i want warm water from my tap in my MBR toilet mah...so no choice lor....instant heater cannot have warm water from tap....some more the storage heater i initially bought is 30L one leh...so i have a 30L storage heater in my MBR toilet....can bathe for very long with hot hot water....haha....had wanted to change to a 15L one...but very tired with the reno liao....so in the end, nvr change... How much your reno cost?

Just to share my experience with them. We just completed our reno. Workmanship is good and ID and his workers are very responsible too. His workers are very helpful, helped us to install some things out of their job scope. We paid his worker a small fee as a token of appreciation. Had some minor issues along the way but otherwise, my reno is a rather smooth one. I didn't have to always take leave to go down and check and before i knew it, my reno is over. Now pending some minor touch-ups. Overall, quite satisfied with my ID.

Hi, I was initially intending to have only day curtains for my full length windows in the living room but apparently, opposite block can see through the windows into my living room so I have decided to add in one more layer of day curtain. My curtains are quoted in a lump sum so not able to advise you. But you need to consider whether your block is facing another block, if so, you might want thicker curtains for more privacy.

I haven't ROM yet....will be having my ROM in June but customary and dinner only next year Feb....ya we didn't want to leave the house empty for too long too but duno if it's ok to move in before that cos scared parents object.... Ya that's what my ID told us too but he said we would be able to see exposed pipings running across the MBR....so in the end, we put the storage heater in the MBR toilet and bought an additional instant heater for our common toilet....haiz...

Ya many of my friends said that too....nowadays the size of EA is smaller...used to have EAs with 146 and above sqm...woodlands area has EAs of up to 154sqm...but all those flats very old liao....think if only 2 ppl staying nia, no need so big also.. Yup my reno completed but still pending some minor touch ups.....dun't think will be shifting in so soon cos need to balek save up to buy furniture lor.... sob sob...very dry now... Your reno completed? When u moving in?

I guess the price increase came after HDB announced the last of the WIS exercise. Cos when we bought ours that time, my friend's friend (already living in segar road) said prices have dropped alot than when they first bought it.....not sure how much the price is now though....but for an EA, I must say the price that we paid is quite ok...

Wow serious?? Went up by 20K?? When did you buy your flat?? I bought mine in Aug last year.... My next door neighbour (at segar) just sold their 4-room flat for 220K and I think that was quite a good price to fetch for a 4-room around that area considering the inconvenient part...

But heard that they are going to shift the interchange here to accomodate the mrt line at bt panjang LRT...duno how true it is.....maybe wait 10 years lor....
