I got my fridge and washing machine from Aik Leong, which is just next to Hong Liang. Delivery was prompt and the installers were friendly, so far good experience but pricing about the same as Hong Liang.

Hey phantom, intercon's pricing has gone up liao for 2008, so you better check out whether it fits your budget or not first....i was lucky cos our wedding is in Feb...so they extended the 07 pricing to us..let me know if you need any info

Hi, my current kitchen switch is located at a very odd place and I basically have to go to the foyer to switch on my kitchen lights whenever we want to go into the kitchen...very troublesome... Anyone knows where to get remote control switches? Cheap and good one...hehe...

I'm an intercon BTB...will be having my AD next Feb....basically we viewed all the hotels in town b4 deciding on intercon...was totally won over by the grand ballroom....had friends who attended wedding there and commented that the food is nice....can't comment much on that since i've nvr attended weddings there b4 but it's nice to hear good comments Phantom, if you are looking at 40 tables, I dun think intercon can accomodate so many leh...their max is 37 tables...i thnk you should select your hotels by elimination process...as in eliminate those which can't accomodate so many tables...it will make your selection easier.... i think grand copthorne is a good choice if you are planning so many tables...shangrila is d-a-r-n ex one lor...how about conrad? Actually i think oriental is very nice too, esp since after the revamp, but dun think they can accomodate so many tables too leh... But I think you should visit the hotels you are interested in to see if you have the feeling~....comments are just comments...ultimately you must like the place b4 you commit. Ya lah precisely...that's why some pple would think grand copthorne is good and some think not mah...after all, it's individual preference lah....ultimately, the couple must like the place...the rest is secondary..ehh grand copthorne not cheap lor....their prices are also 5-star prices man..

Duno work or not lah....but vit c supposed to produce collagen mah...so take lor...anyway boost immunity also....but recently, I tried taking EPO before I slp and I discover the next day I woke up, my skin less dry....i think it helps lor....as for the meiji collagen....just started taking so not much comments... Yomeishu helps in boosting the energy level?? Cos I constantly find myself feeling very lethargic...kps yawning.....

Agree that once u joined uniformed groups, it's v hard to get out..I wanted to quit when I was in Sec 2. My band instructor refused to let me go. Why har?!?! Y must they force us to stay when we no longer have interest har?!?! It's not right lor.....but i love the flute lah...i just hated the band....haha....oops Eventually, I stayed till I graduated....even become section leader....how ironic....but i seldom turn up for practice after that...giving O level's as an excuse....haha....

Hihi....actually later on, I topped up curtains...so in the end my total curtain cost is 2.3K+...that time was cheap cos i went when they had a promo on....not sure about the pricing now...but no harm getting a quote from them....

Just curious....everytime I go to the Bugis guan yin temple to pray, I always see ppl taking joss sticks to first pray to facing outside the temple then pray to guan yin inside. May I know what is the purpose of praying facing outside the temple? I've always thought that that is praying to tian gong and a standard procedure so I followed suit. From your explanation however, buddhists do not pray to tian gong.
