Haven't attended wedding dinners there but had my D&D there this May. The main ballroom is very nice and very grand...service-wise ok, food can be improved cos was a bit cold when served...not sure if it's due to D&D menu, but you can feedback to your wedding coordinator

Yaya...the tidbits part is what kills...and his friends always like to jio us go eat buffet...how to mantain diet like that?!?! But my hubby's appetite is smaller than mine, so that's why he always end up not finishing his food....haiz...i from small appetite now grow to be bigger appetite than him....when we first got together, he kept telling me to eat more....now he ask me to stop eating so much cos i always like to buy ice cream or chocolates after meal...must hv dessert to complete my meal mah......hahaha....

Hey ya lor...ever since i've been with my hubby (for 6 years already as gf and bf), I put on 5kg leh....last time my appetite very small nia, after being with him, my appetite gradually increase cos whatever he cannot finish on his plate, i sup..cos i dun like to waste food! Yaya...sometimes wear abit more colourful to work nia, colleagues will say...wah today wear so nice ah?! go where after work?!?....very sianz...ma chiam go work must wear solemn solemn colours one....cannot be colourful a bit meh? Like that also wana say..... I always ask my hubby what he wearing when we go out so that our outfits can match....hehe....i am the one always dissuading him from wearing jeans and persuading him to wear berms...cos i want to wear shorts...

My new house now also very clean and tidy..I think I better enjoy it now before my house turns into bukit timah hill few months later...think few years later, might evolve into mount everest... On the subject of dresses, I like to wear dresses too cos no need headache mix what top with what bottom...very headache deciding what to wear everyday for work sia...long bia... But actually not true that wearing dresses makes one look aunty....nowadays the dresses all very nice and trendy leh...even for workwear...i think what makes one look aunty is the way she carries herself...some ppl wear aunty clothes but can still look v trendy... For me, normally weekends, I wear shorts and t shirts and specs...cos weekdays already dress up for work, weekdays wear casual i feel more comfortable...dun care if other ppl think i auntie

Seems like Ban Kim Chuan's prices are more competitive...like Miss Tan's service...Hv always thought HL staff abit rude and bo chup...in the end, ordered from BKC....best thing is no need go down put deposit....order on phone and pay only upon receipt of goods!! Free delivery some more!

First you go there, then ask the salesman for the best price for the stainless steel model, once you are satisfied with what he has quoted you, mention that you had originally placed an order the white one, now you want to upgrade to this stainless steel one, so difference is the price he quoted you minus the price of the white one...he got no choice but to offer that price... If he tells you cannot, must charge the retail price for the stainless steel one, ask him why....since you are not exchanging any item here and merely upgrading to a more expensive one, so why shd u be charged the retail price?? Be firm but anyway, I think shouldn't be a problem since u r still considered a new customer and not bringing something to exchange.

Not necessarily need to customise TV console. Can buy ready made ones....i suggest you don't do whole pieve feature wall from top to bottom, do only half...save money too....dun have too much built in furniture...cos cost alot of $$.... Yup agree.... To add, many furniture can be bought ready made. Go recee and reserach around the different shops and you will be surprised what you can find..

Hi cokelight, as you can see, this thread was started by the culprit herself and she doesn't seem interested to contribute any constructive input nor stop her bragging. We did try to go back to the topic but to no avail. The culprit brought back all her bragging. It looks apparent that she started this thread just to show off. I suggest removing this thread completely to stop all these...it's getting very exasperating to hear the same old thing again and again

I don't think so, unless ppl are as bimbotic as her. She's really one of a kind. I think when most ppl see such behaviour, they would remind themselves not to be like that and incur the wrath of so many ppl and not to brag in public. Not sure leh....cannot start a topic abt her leh...cos last time somebody started a topic abt her and kena taken out by mods...
