Actually, i'm quite afraid to go out on the road....cos like v scary....sometimes see my hubby drive halfway filter lane then suddenly got one humongous truck appear beside him, my heart jumped....i always tell him aiyoh 吓死我了 Then he always tells me, ehh then next time how you learn driving?? I have this psychological barrier lah....hope it's really not that scary on the road...i also duno how to overcome this barrier...i've always got this feeling that somehow the vehicle beside us is going to bump straight into us....but just my imagination leh....jia lat...

Ya I would also want to take manual one...but skali i fail too many times then bo bian got to switch to auto...hope i dun give up halfway on the manual one...my hubby told me to take auto one easier to pass....but like too easy, no kick...and hor, next time i wana drive manual gear sports car leh... Dun say so much first...skali i fail then got to eat my words... !!

Just call them to place order and pay when goods are delivered to your home, prices are slightly cheaper than other neighbourhood shops. Can try Hong Liang too... They always have roadshow. I signed up during one of their roadshows cos they promised if you attend their 90min talk, will enjoy free one night stay at marriot hotel or something like that. The promoter said the manager will call me to confirm my attendance for the talk. In the end, when he called me to confirm, I told him I won't be attending anymore cos hubby said this is some timeshare thingy. No such free lunch in this world...

I got it from Novena furniture at balestier...shaw plaza.

We got our dining table from novena. First delivery, they delivered the wrong table frame, according to the delivery man, they punched wrong hole into the frame and promised to call me back to arrange for 2nd delivery for the frame. Dining chairs and glass top were in good condition though. The following week, the person in charge called me to arrange for date to deliver. On the day of delivery, I called up their delivery hotline and asked for the exact time the delivery man will come, salesgirl said will ask manager to call me back. True indeed, the manager called me back 5 minutes later and informed me the time. After that, the delivery man called me to confirm. My table frame arrived in good condition and installation was ok too. Delivery men were responsible and friendly too. Overall, not too bad an experience if not for the delay.

Last christmas, Concourse basement has a fair selling alot of christmas trees and ornaments and i would think they would be a whole lot cheaper than what other retail shops are selling cos i think they were brought in by the wholesale florists upstairs...alot of pretty stuff...not sure if this year, they are doing the same thing, you can check it out if you are interested.

I booked my ATT on Sat at BBDC!! Wow, nowadays the system too "high-tech" until a bit complicated...so troublesme just to pay and book for ATT...no longer just queue and pay in cash at Level 2..duno y they had to complicate the system...tentatively selected manual test...thinking of whether to change to auto later on...hmm...

Probably because of the content in the kind of batteries or voltage required to run different kinds of watches? Like e.g, a simple clock interface versus multi-interface (with global timings) kinds of watches? I would assume those with multi-interfaces would need a higher voltage to run, so not all batteries are suitable for a specific kind of watch.

Ya I saw most shops the biggest clock they have is only about 18in diameter....seldom got bigger than that...i dun mind 18inch as long as the hands are big enough because some clocks have big diameter but the clock interface is very small, the outer rim is only decoration nia.... I already feel so and sad after reading the various reports. I can't bring myself to watch the video. This Bo Davis loser had the cheek to comment, "On comments that the three of them had bullied Mr Lee, he said: "Looking back, I think we were insensitive. But bullies, no." Mr Bo Davis also believes that the incident's magnitude has to do with nationality. He said: "If it were three Asian guys and not three white guys. Would it have got the same reaction?'" Somebody should tell this bird-brain that it's not about nationality, it's simply about showing respect for the elderly. He knows he's garnering a lot of flak for this, so trying to give some lame excuses about nationality in the hope that his fellow countrymen will stand on his side. How stupid of him. The word, LOSER, is already very clearly written on his kiam pah face. If their action does not constitute bullying, what does?? This has already gone beyond what qualifies as insensitivity. They should be sent back here, made to look for Mr Lee, kneel down, apologise and fined. Then post the video on youtube as humiliation. What goes around comes around. Cos I have a quite a wide piece of wall that looks very plain...so if i put a small clock there, it would look very weird and I figured that we can afford to put a big clock there because of the space....furthermore, i like idea of being able to see the time from far without having to strain my eyes....hehe...
