Ya my hubby also will give all sorts of lame excuses when i nag at him....after a while, i become so tired unti l i gave up liao...

It's not about $$ cos we didn't really spent anything extra on the banquet....we just took whatever hotel gave us...it's about the effort....he's a very absent-minded guy and not very attentive to details...many things i have kp on repeating and repeating...very tired liao....i've also grown more white hairs becuase of htis...haiz But yours in June right? Still got time.....when time draws near, they auto will start to plan one....but got to push them....i also argued with my parents many times liao....kept forcing them to write down the individual names instead of just giving them table number....like that how to know exactly how many will turn up?

He won't bother so much abt colour of flowers, working out the schedules, working out emcees script....just told me on that day everything will work out fine, ask me dun worry....of course i know that day things will work out fine lah! Cos I eveything do swee swee for him liao!! Haiz....I think I need to brief him that day before he go briefing with the banquet mgr.....see! Like that, i might as well go briefing myself....

Hey I totally agree with you on the last sentence....i kept telling that to my parents too....ask them write guest list nia push there push there, then say aiyah that day, u just give me the table number will do, i will ask them to go sit at the table number can liao....then still can tell me, i attended so many weddings liao, my experience tells me bah blah blah......i told my mum u "attended" but you nvr planned before...u duno how tough and stressful it is...then she keep quiet... Everybody thoguth planning wedding so easy leh...until the day that they hv to do it themselves, then they will understand

hmm...somehow, for my case, we seemed to have drifted apart leh.... Cos expectations different, he wants simple simple one, i want everything to be perfect, he doesn't understand why i like that, i also dun undertand why he like that :furious:

ya the bright yellow really cannot make it....they got a thing against colour coordination izit? Pale yellow i still dun mind...it's too stark a contrast with our green windows liao....and the yellow is very glaring....imagine sunny day, u stare at the blocks i think u will go blind.... Haha cannot lah...if i be driver will forever cannot reach destination....i will be driving at 20km/h. Wait u see me wear gown in police station ok... My wedding favour haven't confirmed...becuase i dun like the existing ones the hotel gave and the banmquet mgr said she will check with her supplier.....she showed us one saucer with teddy bear pictures quite cute....and can use also.....might be taking that.... Mine at intercontinental Ya lor, me very particular....my friends told me not to chup one leg in everything but very difficult leh...haha...i scared that day choy choy anything goes wrong mah....at least i oversee everything, i make sure that every single detail is being attended to.....maybe i too kpo liao...haha.. I also have 2 tones...ivory and champagne....hehe....

ya...hehe...cos my test at 4.30...so might as well take half day go home relak first...haha... I hope I can pass leh...not much confidence though... Duno how come got so many things leh...maybe because i'm particular abt the wedding favours and colours of the flowers...that's y got so many things to discuss with her....and the videos that we are going to play....songs we are going to play.....etc etc....

Very difficult to follow all the way cos if so, really need to buy a lot of things and alot of procedures to follow, in this modern times, quite hard to follow exactly...as long as both side families are ok with omitting certain items for GDL, then ok liao. Otherwise, GDL stuff is just an yi si.

If u looking for contact for cheap liquor, can go to this store near Novena square, it's a row of shophouses, think the shop's name is called Wine merchants or something like that....it's wholesale.....selling much much chepaer than retail stores.....we asked for price of Martell, elsewhere selling at 100+, there only 80.....the uncle very friendly.....even introduced us another shop at geylang selling even cheaper than his....if u want, i can get the contact from my hubby and pm you.

oh ya hor, u mentioned before....haha...i think many of us repeat the AD date and hotel until v sian liao....should start a thread and put everybody's details in so that if not sure, just refer....haha...
