Things are more meaningful when you use your hard-earned money to buy them. You treasure the items more. Things that you get too easily, you tend to take them for granted. I feel that it then becomes meaningless. I've always preferred to spend my own money because I don't want to be a burden to other ppl, especially not to my own husband. I don't want to have to depend on other ppl to get for me any item that I desire. Why should I when I have arms and legs and can go out and earn money and make myself useful to society and at the same time, I can get anything I want anytime?? Erm, all your diamonds are bought for you by your hubby?? Then it becomes meaningless liao cos you don't appreciate the hard work put through to earn that kind of money to be able to provide you with your kind of lifestyle. Personally, I feel that. Don't really have to wear REAL diamonds for your wedding lah...it's just a matter of personal preference, there's no right or wrong, you don't really hv to worry whether they are real or not. Nobody will come up to you on that day to say, wah that one is real or fake?? I wore the accessories that my MUA provided me on my wedding day and banquet cos I felt that the design suits my gown more. It's up to you really.

Agree. When I first bought my new house, I wasn't aware that all my neighbours hang their laundry at the corridor. Mine's a point block with only 4 units on each floor so all 3 units of my neighbours treat the corridor like their own kampong. And on rainy days their laundry would even block the lift buttons, they would give excuses like oh cos rain water splashed onto their clothes. I was very upset even till now, I really regretted buying this unit. Everyday when I go home and the lift reaches my floor, my heart would beat very fast cos i duno what i'm going to see that day. It was miserable. I suggest you re-think this. You have a choice now, dun place your money and regret. Imagine living there and having to face that everyday, can you take it? The kind of neighbours you have are indeed very veryimpt.
