I have paid to my ID the full sum as well.. though they did come to rectify what I mention as defects/ touch up, but the hollow tiles are 'salvaged with bonding chemicals' as much as possible only. no extended warranty or whatsoever, i just have to accept it.

hi ppl, i am facing similar situation, i have alot defects in the house, like hollow tiles (despite re-work , still hollow - u drop a pen u can hear the difference). and my laminated carpentry have flaws, blemishes and cracks etc. my ID only tell me the disadvantages of re-doing , so he advised me against it. its a painful decision to accept. he refuse to compensate in anyway. if i am still unsatisfied with his defect rectification, can i not pay him all the balance 10%? what rights do i have? i wish to just stop all the defect rectification because he does not improve the defects, its just a waste of my time. its a case trusted company, but he tell me that even if i go case, these are acceptable reworks. who can i trust? i really not willing to pay him for substandard works, but on the other hand if i dun pay to him, will my warranty be voided?? does any one have any experiences to share?
