  5. wall mount might lead to overheating of plasma/LCD...
  6. hahaha same same... my hubby oso proposed after we applied for resale flat. he wanted to propose to me in a restaurant but too paiseh to do it. in the end, he proposed to me in the privacy of his room. knelt down & said touching words. even though it was all anticipated, but still cried lah...

  14. yupyup... i oso prefer those squarish ballrooms wif higher ceilings & no pillars... dun mind short march in though... but can't have very long train liao. hipv ceiling oso quite weird, one side low ceiling. im so looking fwd to seeing the novotel ballroom when lights are dimmed! heh heh. location, food & price very impt too. hipv has got wallpaper all ard but it looks kinda "halal" cos very greenish. so sometimes bare walls oso not bad! yup me love flowers... create a more romantic feeling for wedding... so smaller ballroom easier to decorate agree on that. been looking at PJ pics on sgbrides. find it really nice!
  15. sama sama...can only check when i get home tonight...
  16. that's just basic phone etiquette, TPY. some bosses very frenly & polite over the phone, or even face & face. can talk abt lotsa things, even personal stuff. but suddenly (perhaps just one week later) they forget ur names & wat u do, or they keep postponing their lunch appts wif u cos they got more impt things to attend to (i.e. bigger shots to entertain). best of the worst in the office is one thing, but tt doesnt mean we do not compare wif frens who are doing better right? the world isn't tt tiny. for the last line on simplicity, it's a personal opinion & does not apply to all those who are the "best among the worst". think: the fisherman story.
  17. ya actually outside got a lot of nice sinks for $100-200 also. our teka double bowl sink only cost us $230 nia
  18. erm... not really leh. fifi rem to add me hor !!
  19. hello diva-san... i thot i was the only freak ard here to find the walls bare... but if it's me, i wouldnt engage additional florist to do up the place oso... cos really cost $$ think >$1K... which i'd rather spend on honeymoon !! i think it might be bcos the place quite big, so not as cosy as some of the smaller ballrooms i been to. seen some pics of NCQ, find tt floral theme looks nicer than crystal theme. anyway i just received the invite to go for the wedding fair on 1st sep... now we change back to 22 tables only leh... and phoenix room requires min 30 tables... but the perks really tempting leh
