    our water feature which we put facing the main door stopped working the moment we put in our new home (it was working fine previously). so no water flowing means no wealth flowing out?

    we are staying in top floor but dun find it hot at all. very windy & good air circulation. same for my mom's place which is also top floor. but if stay low floor with front & back blocked by other blocks, confirm will be stuffy & hot.

    went to bintan in aug... not recommended! stayed at mayang sari & the resort is like, so old & lousy! wooden floor creaks and the bed is hard & makes my skin itch. i still prefer batam harris resort. nice clean new big room, and the spa was better. and it's cheaper too. only thing is the food, batam food is not as gd as bintan's...

    am staying in a EW facing flat now. find it not tt bad actually. perhaps bcos staying high floor, so quite windy. sun shines in ard 5-7pm in the living room but we just draw the curtains lo. rooms face east but they have aircon so it's not a problem.

    how big ur kitchen cabinets? ur flooring looks very expensive lo. our flooring (also 5rm) cost us $5K only though tile rate is at $3.20psf.

    my MBR door oso faces MBR toilet door. distance abt 1.5m & we do casement doors for the toilet tt flushes with the rest of the wardrobe. so once we step into MBR, it looks as if we got a really huge wardrobe.

    my sofa is directly under a beam. according to mr chong, he says it is ok. after all there are many other beams in the hdb structure on the floors above which u may not know of. moreover, l-box is not really a beam lah. square downlights are more modern. many pp use square lights even for bedroom lights nowadays. more impt is the house facing, main door direction, stove & bed position...
