They have installed my kitchen cabinets with laminate finish inside and outside as per their specialty since other IDs that I contacted only offer PVC finish inside. I got their offer price of $100 per foot run. I heard they have increased their prices. Quality is ok and i am happy with it. The slides are hidden undermounted type with soft close. Hinges are also soft close and for my sink they include stainless steel soft close hinge with no extra charge. I got a quote from Image at $140 per foot, North West also about $140, but they both want to charge me extra for soft close slides and hinges. Some more their inside of cabinet is only PVC! Another difference, is BLVE Blue uses 5 mm plywood for drawers in slotted construction, not like other carpenters who use only 3 mm and nail them which sometimes can fall out sometime later if not done properly. BLVE drawers base is with laminates, not PVC and this is good because PVC will scratch when you put your stuff in the drawers and will be very ugly after sometime. For the shelving, of course laminates is better since it is scratch resistance. Otherwise why all IDs use laminates for the door outside and not PVC if PVC is so good! PVC is definitely cheaper than laminates. On the door panel thickness, BLVE Blue door is 18 mm and most other IDs uses only 15 mm. The * sales guy tried to bull**** me about the thickness and said no one uses 18 mm only 15 mm. Yesterday, I was at the Expo where the furniture fair is on. BLVE Blue is there. They have a video at the booth showing their factory which i think is very impressive. They invited me there to visit, so when I am free I will go, but very far in Sungei Kadut. They said every enduser that visited them purchased because no IDs and carpenter workshop in Singapore is as high tech as them using the big German computerised precision machines to make the cabinets. Anyway, BLVE Blue has 2 year warranty on their works. I think it is better to find a larger company than small carpenter or ID who will probably not be around when your cabinets have problems later on. Since they have big factory which they say is about 18,000 sq ft, they should be able to resolve any after sales issues. So my advise is to visit their factory to verify and see the quality there. I think it is worth your while if you have a lot of carpentry work to be done and see for yourself.
