Really depends on your requirement. Sound proofing can be achieved to a certain extent by using rock wool in partition. Partition wall definitely cheaper, using carpentry is a good option, but honestly, quite expensive. Brick/hollow block wall, compare with partition wall, pricing should be more expensive. PD door....???? Not quite a fan. In short: Budget constraint Use partition wall No constraint Use carpentry (with pocket door or even glass door)
