Well, if it is just bathrooms only, maybe you would want to consider looking for a contractors rather then ID. The advices that people usually get for kitchen cabinet is change the door, of course re-lamination can be done too. Depends on contractors. Just have to check with contractors.

Updates. Still doing flooring just that the living area are all tiled, now left with all the rooms. Flooring, quick quick!! Living hall Passage way to rooms. Just want to rant a bit about life, bear with me a little. Over the weekends, i have attended 2 biggest event in a person's life out of the 3. And they are of 2 different extremes. On sat it is a joyous event for a celebration of a friend's marriage. And the next day, was passing of a friend who is a year younger then me. Although, we know that he doesn't have much time, but upon knowing the news i can't get over the fact that he is gone. He may not be my close friend, but he is a good friend of mine, who brings joy and laughter to us, a very sincere person, a very loyal friend, a friend who will offer good advices and an excellent classmate. We may not contact often, but when hb and me ROM-ed and bought our new house. He is more excited then us and had dreams and vision with his then girlfriend, but now wife, of owning their own house and their own marriage. Actually we have many plans that involves him, like group holidays, weddings etc.. And today, it came as a shocking news to me, just when i woke up on this afternoon, as i couldn't believe what i heard, because i was thinking of him for the pass few days and wanted to give him a call. And i didn't know i was so late. I should have done that when i immediately thought of him. And he made all of us who knew him realized, we shouldn't say things like "life s-.u-.c.-.k-.s". When he came to realized he is at the last stage of cancer on this February, and going through the process of treatment, he is still cheerful, and strong to face this news, and kept thinking of us during the treatment period. And he passed away too sudden, he was fine and happy the previous day and gone on the next. At paying my last visit of him, i couldn't help but having flash back of the days when we were schooling, how we handle many difficult situations and projects together. And fate brought us together, as secondary schoolmate and also poly classmate, we thought we'll be friends till we age. And knowing that he has many dreams and vision in life, i came to realized, as much as how difficult and hard life is to us. We shouldn't give up easily, complain and work towards it. And we shouldn't take things for granted. A friend who will be in my memories forever.

For the fact that, even if you are willing to pay that kind of price. Some part time maid may not know how to do the job well or handle the materials properly which incur much more cost to repair them. Finding part time maid to do the job is easy, to find one that is good enough is not easy to find. Else, there won't be so many house owners that keeps changing their part time maid.

I personally think there is no reason to argue over or reason over it. Just one sentence to phrase it all, personal preference. Each of us are made differently and of course our thinking as well. Majority think so, doesn't mean all people have the same thinking. That applies the way how we do things as well. Beside, it is their own home, they have the right to do what they liked and wants.

Went down to the new house for new progress in the afternoon. And the living area is more then half way done. And went down at night to check in something, and it is already near the balcony and a little onto the passage way to bedrooms. And stacks of white cement.

Actually, a house after reno is not easy to clean at all, else a lot of part time maid may want to take up the job. Imagine, how much dust is accumulated even after the contractors have cleaned for you. For the same area you may need to clean it again for at least 3 times.

haha.. no la.. someone taught me, because at then my dog has a lot of tear stain everyday. After i tried boiled water to feed him, he has a lot lesser. Still have but not so much, before that every morning when i see him, he has long tear stain and its those wet type. Now most of the time its dried ones. And met up with one of our friend whose family business does importing and exporting of items. And I remembered he told us that he brought in biometric door lock. So asked hb to get from him. Brand is Virdi, but we have a problem that is finding someone to install for us. Anyone has any recommendation of locksmith to install this digital lock for us? We needed someone who can do the job, if he is good, my friend may consider recommending his clients who bought the digital lock. As my friend has many client interested in the door lock, but due to no installer, they prefer not to buy it.

Earlier after meeting my friends to discuss her wedding stuff for gate crashing, went to new house to look at the progress. And happy to see that they had laid the base for the living room and bedrooms, and ready to lay marble tiles soon. And saw on one of the wall pasted this piece of paper, that the marble tiles has numbering, as we had it dry laid. So to minimize a little on the color running tone.

Ya, pure breed will be whitish only, the hard part is to maintain the whitish, if not will turn yellowish. My previous one was adopted, since it is cross, many people gave him the attention, as he looks outstanding from the rest of the Japanese Spitz. Ya, for their joints can give them food to supplement for the lack of the substance in their joints. For tear staining, as long you feed them with boil water instead of tap water, and clean their eyes area daily, it should solve the problem. I cleaned for my dog twice daily, when we finished our walk. I can say Japanese Spitz are a very clever breed, i think that is why they are very playful and mischievous, plus they are eager to learn new tricks and to please their owner. It makes them a fun, cuddly and cute breed.

Ya.. they are cute, but quite mischievous, active and playful actually. And a little more barkish then other dog. These aspect will have to train them. Before, you get the dog understand their behavior and character would be good, so to manage your expectation. This is my second dog, first dog is Japanese Spitz mixed with Pomeranian, so my that dog looks like a brown color Japanese Spitz, or some look at it like a big sized Pomeranian.

Hi angelbutterfly, My hb helped to ask their supplier already. Supplier mentioned that Fuller 770 is better, as it is anti mould and mildew, and price difference is $1 only. Fuller 770 is $7. I think if you buy else where should be around that price too, should not differ too much. Hi IPineapple, haha.. for this depends on quantity.. I think from my mother in law shop should be much more cheaper compared to home fix shop etc, due to location, as their business are more towards industrial business. If you need taps etc, they have it too, but no display set, buy many items from them should have discount.

np! erm, let me ask my hb, see he knows which is better. Since their business is in hardware trade. The price for fuller 770 brand, i'm not sure, as we got it for free, since its from hb's shop.. keke.. Else, maybe mother in law paid for it, since will incur cost price also.. I'll let you know later, as hb busy in shop at the moment, he say he will let me know later. Should buy silicone sealant, cos those which is provided by contractors are normal ones, not very good ones. Maybe will peel off very soon depending on usage. That is what my mother in law told us. And my hb feel so too..

Hi angelbutterfly, Oh! You have super good eye sight! The things are so messy and you can see it. yeah, my mother in law asked my hb to give the contractor the silicone tubes. As she mentioned they are really good ones compared to those normal ones and slightly more expensive. Since, they are in the hardware business, so i guess they should know which is good or bad. They are anti mold and mildew, but not fungal, as mold and mildew is just subset of fungal. Fungal comes in many subset. And my mother in law and hb emphasize that it has 25 years guarantee, a bit over exaggerated but since they dare to put it, it should be then. The brand is Fuller, 770. When we gave to contractor, he knows the brand too. So i guess, it is pretty popular. Hi Dreaming, Yeah! i was surprised too, when i saw the drainage hole was covered and it is removable. And was happy that they did it. As my parent's place doesn't have it, and sometimes the irritating cockroaches hides in there, which makes my hair stands when i walk pass the drainage hole. I'm just afraid that they might climb out while i walk pass. These days we have less cockroaches, as my dog will chase them away when he sees them. Thanks for your compliment on the bathroom tiles.

On wed while waiting for the WC and stuff to arrive, i realized they did a nice piece of tile to cover up the kitchen drainage hole. I prefer it like this, as i'm very afraid of cockroaches that might climb up from there or hide in there. And today went, the WC are installed. This is for the common. And this for the MBR bath with WC. Lastly, the marble tiles came for all the rooms and placed in each room.

Last wednesday, we had our WC delivered as well as all the sanitary product and our hob and hood. Although, its not time to install sanitary product but we thought it is good to have them there first, placed in storeroom. So anytime they need to install they may proceed. The WC and sanitary items for MBR bathroom. And sanitary item for common bath. The WC for common which we asked to shift it near to the bathroom entrance.

If they are going to use wood strips to do patch up, and your sink is going to be under mount, ask them to use good silicone to seal the gap between the granite and your basin. I only know 1 good brand is 770, which my hb mother's gave us a couple of tubes for our contractor to use for our house, since they are in hardware line they know which brand is better.

Common bath room basin tap, it has similar design with the shower mixer. Kitchen sink pull out tap. MBR bathroom basin tap, for MBR basin, we are going for glass bowl. Hb like glass bowl, so i'll give in for this then.
