just some updates. no photos tho cos kinda lazy to upload em. :X 1) false ceiling up 2) acid wash and painting this week 3) carpentry next week 4) signed up fibre hubbing plan through a personal friend who is working with starhub. she managed to secure a relocation of tp date on 24/11. hopefully everything goes well!

proceeded down to starhub @ causewaypoint to sign up for the fibre hubbing plan and requested for the relocation of termination point. apparently the CSO who served me said that i have to approach opennet myself for the relocation as they don't provide such service as to liase with opennet and etc. so frustrating!! :curse: any members here got experience on this? please help!

been a busy week with work & wedding preparations. had no time for the house this week. however as as per every sunday, i might be dropping to check out the place. with that said, i was updated that the tilings are almost done with just the skirting left. ID mentioned it will be done by sunday. nonethless.. from a warzone, i'm starting too see a house emerging. *pics courtesy from ID and finally, the water pipes are up!

dropped by to see the progress of renovation. surprised to see a tiler working on a sunday. nonetheless, the aircon pipes are up! not forgetting the kitchen & toilet tiles. can't wait to move-in though i think only about 30% of reno are done. more headache awaits! :dribble: tiler working solo on the living room tiles love the design tiles in the toilet. don't mind the ugly water pipes tho! messy messy wirings and aircon piping. can you imagine if there is no false ceiling? gas piping

dropped by our place earlier. the tilers were busy doing their job even on a saturday. happy to see some progress! :dancingqueen: halfway done with the wall toilets almost done cabinet base almost done. he was also using some laser thingy (i don't know for what. haha!) busy mixing the sand and the cement my 'boss' taking a shot of her crocs shoe or the living room tiles? :furious:
-
that seems a feasible idea. but no skirting wouldn't it look weird? i was thinking like that too. room = laminated skirting since using laminated flooring. living = tiles skirting since using tiles too. thanks for the response!
-
should i go for laminated skirting or tiles skirting? or living use tiles skirting and room use laminated skirting since my rooms are laminated flooring? what do u guys think?
-
walls are up! tiles are up!

in short, everything is about money. getting permit, need money. become accredited contractor, need money. beat around the best, but still get money. our gah-men are clever ppl!! :bangwall:
-
haha i like ur attitude. can't wait for the final product bro!!
-
congrats on ur purchase!! between u have yet to go for 1st appt, already have ID? thats fast! on a separate now, as extracted from the permit (prior to this, i didnt know that change window also need permit) - "Advisory Note: To preserve the aesthetic appearance of the block, you are advised to replace the windows with similar colour scheme and proportion as the orignal HDB window design." they stated that it is advised, not a must. so no worries! between i see many other units around the area with white windows too. so which block will u be at?
