Thanks RB for the info. I would be sitting at my computer and start working on my renovation budget. I know it's going to be hard to work at tight budget of something around $30k. But nonetheless I will still try. As I read your blog, I realize u spend around $37k for renovation? I like your stair case design but my wife thinks that the glass panels along the stairs is not feasible and may get damaged when moving furniture up and down the stairs.

I like the deign of your gate and staircase light box. Is it wrought iron? Which vendor did you use and how much is the cost? Thanks.
