Happy New Year piknik! Ur 2D and 3D layout drawings looks great! Finding the right ID is impt..... I realise most of the IDs I found are mainly Chinese speakers... They don't usually speak good English. I tried to communicate with them in mandarin most of the time. When I use English, I think my ID only understood 40 to 50%.

Simply love your glass staircase. I thought your handrail is timber?

No budget? You r just being realistic and not going to overstretch your $$$$. We cant dump everything into the reno......Live with what we can afford lor. Need also to leave some cash for rainy days I like your simple reno and like u, I m also an "IKEA" person. I bought many furniture pieces from them too! Cheers

The penalty is very heavy. Is the ID company responsible for the delay? If it is, then I think it is right they should bear the full cost of the delay ....

Hi Takeyu, I still prefer your earlier 3D version of your kitchen cabinet layout..... somehow with the oven and microwave higher up looks much better in terms of layout and also easier for you to use them. Just my 2 cents worth.

I insisted that my ID rectify the problem. I didnt want to pay for their mistake. In the end, the problem was solved.

Agree with u that the pipes looks weird running in this manner. I had rather similar encounter when ID sub con runs pipes through my living hall..... I made a big hoo haa about the whole matter and ask them to redo! They kept insisting no other way to lay the pipes. I took out the layout and map out alternative route for them! I think these people just want the short cut way of getting things done Just get them to re lay the pipes.
