I don't think u should accept the fault of the ID or contractor. Don't pay them until they rectify the fault. If I were u, I can never accept a cemented stair. I remembered my ID made mistake on my laminate stairs, I made him redo at no cost.

I m saving enough $$ for part 2 of my reno. Will likely need to use Andrew and Ah Soon services. Heehee

My Super Domestic Helpers "Ariston" Automatic DIsh Washer "Agait" Robot Vacuum Cleaner As I do not have a human domestic helper, I have to resort to technology to assist me in household chores. So far my auto Dish Washer has been a superb helper..... keeping my dishes sparkling clean. My latest addition is the Robot Vacuum Cleaner. It does a fabulous job in picking up most the dust and hair daily. If you do own other new / latest domestic technologies, like an auto floor mop, or clothes hanging robot, clothes ironing robot, toilet cleaning robot or even an auto plant watering machine, do let me know where I can get them.

Hi Whitehousey, I am also using "Finish" too but it is the double-action type.... slightly more expensive and only Coldstorage sells them. One thing that I do is for each wash, I cut the tablet into halves and use 1/2 tablet for each wash. So I can use 1 box for quite a long time. I also use the economy cycle (about 40min). The washing is very clean and of acceptable standard. What about u? How is your usage?

Hi Casa, the Agait Robot cleaner costs only S$339. It is able to clean about 70% of the house after which it goes back to its home position to recharge itself. My wife feels that it is noisy but I feel it is certainly much quieter than the conventional vacuum cleaner.

Whitehousey, coincidentally I got this idea of owning a dishwasher while I was in Australia. It is a common household item as domestic helper there is expensive n not easy to get. My usage is about twice or 3x a week. I usu wash the plates in the dish washer immediately.I dont like to leave dirty stuff inside for a day or two. I get the dishes washed immediately . It is a great domestic helper

Can I still do the ledge even if the wall tiles r already done? I would want to consider this in part 2 of my renovation. I don't like my current shampoo trays and makes it hard for me to clean the tray and the floor. Great idea!
