Thanks 4 visiting my blog. The Agait EC01 enhanced is currently distributed by Navicom. Their showroom in @Orchard Central:) I got the sales person to demo before deciding. There will be bumping against the wall skirting, lower part of cabinets, wardrobes, tables, etc. The bumper is sensitive and tries to move off the the moment it knocks on something. So far no major problem...... Just make sure no obstruction on the floor like cloth or slippers. Vacuuming has never been made so easy for me. It is certainly a great invention It has no mopping feature. I thought this is not so critical to me at this point of time. I still think that mopping needs that human touch.... I want to reach every tiny corner of the house, a conventional mop is still the best tool

We all know that reno is a very tedious n tiring process. It drains us physically n mentally. That is why we need to be firm and let the ID knows what exactly we want and follow our spec. I m not a perfectionist too though my wife is.... But I have expectations. At the end of the day, u r paying the ID money and u n ur family will be enjoying the new place, not ur ID. In my opinion, I feel good if my $$ is well spent n seeing good workmanship makes me feel good. My 2cents worth

The high ceilings for AM, aren't they similar to the EMs?

Oic.... I remember seeing those top floors @ Sinming, not sure if they r considered 5AM or EM.... Living hall is high ceiling, MBR is 1st level, the other rooms are 2nd level. Agent call them penthouse.

Currently, I don't think robot cleaner technology has clean and mop at the same time. The " iclebo" can clean. It also mops but must change the attachment..... That is why I didn't really bother to spend $900..... Just buy something cheaper which can almost do the same job! Battery is able to last for about 80min. Good enough for me.

Btw what is the SCC charges for 5AM? EM is $80.

The robot cleaner is something worth considering. It is certainly my excellent domestic helper.

Hi Zkong, welcome! From your budget, I know that u r going for a major overhaul for your EM. There seems to be quite a number of forumers currently renovating their EM in Tampines. This would be great platform for u to share your ideas. When you gather quotations from the various ID/ contractors, I always think it is good that u list down the things u would like them to do, rather than each company giving diffeent proposal. Then that would be difficult to compare. For me, I didnt have to get too many quotes as i was certain what I really want. Most of my quotes were about the same ..... I go for the ID I feel most comfortable and budget I can afford. Relax and enjoy your renovation process.
