Congrats on your move-in. You will soon get use to the staircase. My only problem is forgetting to take things I need and therefore have to go up and down "extra" times. Haha!

Congrats on getting an EM in Tampines. Is it inclusive of COV? I understand with our Govt cooling measures, COV is expected to drop. If thecondition of the parquet on the staircase is still good, you may consider refurshing it.

Is it the Andrew from Designer Guys? I wanted to use him. He don't seem to be the kind of person u describe. I didn't use him coz his price was higher than another ID company.

Really think it Is too much for a 3 rm. Dont think it is worth to pay for convenience ...... S'pore is already so small .... Everywhere and anywhere is also accessible.

Congrats to u! I m sure if u and your contractor has that right chemistry, he will be able to execute your plan in overhauling your EM. Your current condition looks quite well maintained. Are u hacking off everything including the flooring?

White skirting is nice to have but hard to maintain for long period.

A great transformation indeed for an EM...... Beautiful beyond words. I like your superbig MBR with the additional windows facing staircase..... Similar to one landed property I viewed recently. It's also a great way to maximize space under staircase with the pull-out drawers concept! Nice )

HappyAng, your renovation is progress well. your living hall and kitchen flooring flushed? or is there a step?

When I first bought my EM, I realised the original layout in the kitchen was a wash area (Not a toilet). We had to get ID to erect the toilet. Mine is S-type configuration due to the piping requirement. We had to change our WC from the normal one to the smallest available size.

How do u clean the ceiling fan at the staircase well?

Hey Andrina, congrats on your reno completion, The place looks great, nice and bright staircase. Finally, you get your wet and dry kitchen nicely done up. What do you intend to put in your "green" balcony?

That's true.....one yr after my reno, finally I got my 2nd air con compressor installed. I m sure ur ID has a way to get this done.

How to access thru the MBR? Hack down part of the wall n install a door? My ex owner built a platform at the staircase void and used it as a study corner.

Great that Andrew got his guys to change the damaged tiles. If the fault lies in him not following your requirement, you have the right to ask him to do a rework. It will be too late once you release the payment.

Interesting question..... My ID asked for cheque so I didn't think they have credit card facility.

Congrats! It's personal preference for colour of flooring. I dare not try dark colors as it tend to make the place look smaller and less bright. I still go for light colours even though people tell me it is hard to maintain. Hope to see more pic of ur reno. So did u engage an ID or contractor?
