  1. Very nice and inspiring photos..... My ideal home.
  2. Which place in balestier did u go to get the sink and taps?
  3. Really.... Can I drop by to visit u and see ur beautiful EM? I was walking around the blk yesterday to see what the neighbors have done.
  4. Hi mummyfel, ur renovation is still in progress? Nice 3D drawings. Can't wait to see your actual pics of ur kitchen, hall and MBR once completed.
  5. Nice Kitchen..... what you see on 3D is what you get. Are you happy with your ID? Any issues? I am still looking for a good and reliable ID.
  6. I have still not approach any ID or contractor yet since 2nd Appt is quite far away (5 July). I would love to put up photos in my reno journal, but currently nothing to put up. Frankly speaking, I don't really want to put up anything of my EM in its current state because the owners are still staying there. However, I have this photo which I took yesterday that shows the view from my living hall.
  7. MayDream, I agree with u... Becos I m one of those who enjoy looking at post with pictures. RB, dont get me wrong, I also enjoy reading those tech stuff posted by u.
  8. Yea, do get well so and drink plenty of water. Anyway , congrats on your move in.
  9. Once moving Starts.... headache also starts. There will be lots of packing and unpacking to do. You need muscles too
  10. Wah.... every pic looks so nice and modern look..... but need to spend a lot of $$$$ leh... btw, what is your reno budget?
  11. Thanks for putting up info on what you have done so far! Much to learn from u.... Btw, where in the N do u live?
  12. Same place as u.... My COV is very high....and now little $$$ left for reno.
  13. Congrats on getting an ID and great to know that your renovation is starting very soon. Please let me know how much this will cost u. I am very tight with my budget and may not even be able to afford an ID .... sigh..... really envy people who spend over $50K in reno.
  14. Congrats Brian, wish your renovation to your 4rm resale flat is doing well.... looks like your new home is now taking shape.
  15. I am looking forward to get my keys.... meanwile will need to start working on my computer and draft out the details of my renovation budget. Got to pay so much on COV and would be left with so little cash to renovate this EM which is in very original state. I am going to engage with RT.com and get as much info about the renovation. I hope these will help me in my planning of this 150sq m EM. Ha ha....Need to start working on my renovation budget.
  16. Hi Cleong, It's along Serangoon N Av 1
  17. I have just learn how to upload photos onto this page using photobucket..... Just paid $5 and got the floorplan from HDB online. Wow, I didn't expect to get it so quickly. Here is the floorplan of the EM I have bought.
  18. Hi, I m still new to this forum. I enjoy reading the blogs of many. I am encouraged by many of u who are willing to share your experience and photos of what u have gone through. I recently bought an EM unit in Serangoon North..... And paid a rather high COV for a 26 yr old, in very original state. I have also gone for my 1st Appt on 10 May and I was told that 2nd appt is 8 wks later. Look forward to sharing more with u....
  19. $3K is quite a good bargain for your kitchen. Can you tell me which contractor you use? I like my kitchen to be all white. I also happen to see the same chimney cum glass type hood in Courts the other day.... look very nice in the photo.
  20. I like the design of your 13 ft wardrobe. Can u tell me the contact of your carpenter and how much it cost u? Thx.
  21. I like the look of your kitchen which is clean and bright. How much does it cost?
  22. I also think doing the stairs is very expensive. So u r not doing glass panel liao... What kind of stairs r u doing and the handle? How much and Any pics?
  23. Hi, I have exactly the same floor plan. I am going to keep the utility room but is there a possiblity of making it bigger? I like RimsBlock suggestion ... which is "to push the existing grilles and main door to flush with the access corridor, and maybe change the internal walls to glass partition..." Anyone tried doing this?
  24. Hi Kobelala, I like your EM layout & I feel that every room is in the right proportion (at least the study room is sizable). The EM that I recently purchase at Serangoon is a small utility room... I am not sure how I can transform it to a study cum minibedroom. It's great that your EM is beginning to take shape since you started renovation. Please continue to upload photos once your staircase is done. Thx.
