It's electical rewiring this week and building partition wall for store in living hall and store under staircase. Pairiting work will also begin this week. ....

Same here, I m also used to having big store area. The area under the stairs is surely not enough for storage of big and bulky stuff. For me I m not converting the 1st level utility to a store. Instead now going to turn part of my living into a store area. I m sure your EM is big enough to covert some space into storage area.

Just confirm with ID last evening on the choice of laminate wood for kitchen cabinates.... it would be "Polar white" for top and botttom, mixed with "Golden Maple". Golden Maple will also be used for bar counter. Am meeting ID on Sunday for Electrical wiring points. Just bought some lightings for the bedrooms and toilets too!

I called up my ID yesterday to ask him why he didnt get his worker to hack away the curve corners of the wall before plastering. I told him I don't want the curve walls as they belong to to 60s or 70s design.... Sianz..... Why do double work?

White and black.....Contrasting colours. For me it is polar white with some parts golden maple, as for solid top..... Is some kind of granite white..... Do u install oven or dish washer?

MBR Bathroom Updates Initially, i requested my ID to create a small triangular high kerb at the corner of the MBR bathroom .... I was not happy when ID used the floor tiles to buid the high triangular kerb at the corner. I suggested him to build it as it was meant to rest or sit. I think the high kerb should follow the wall tiles which is white. After much persuasion he finally agreed to change these to white on next Mon.

DAY 25 (11 Aug) Today, plastering works is almost completed. The whole flat is very dirty and dusty. Every wall was smoothened to perfection. I even praised the worker for his work well done!

Thx. For the floor laminate, I decided to use the darker one for the staircase and the lighter one for the bedrooms.

No, it only simple cornice, my ID is already kind enough to do part of the living false ceiling for FOC..... anything extra would only mean more $$$... Ha ha!

Ipineapple, how did your meeting with IDs turn out? Any potential ones? I remember for me, out of 5, only 2 came back to me and continue meeting 3 times. The rest were quiet after knowing that i have a tight budget.
