Updates: Laying of laminate wood for level 2 and stairs in progress. New Storeroom in living room. Polishing of marble floor done.

DAY 38 - 24th Aug The front foyer ..... i used mainly white homogenous tiles and some pebbles on both sides ... Zooming-in Painting is almost done..... including the balcony high walls

I really hope ID can help speed things up. How I wish it is already over..... Still got my boss at work chasing after my deadline.... I stay up late to try to complete my office work.... Perhaps, I m quite a workaholic and use to stay up late at nite.

Thanks. I don't think ID can meet 3rd Sept deadline. Many things still left undone. My wife nor happy with some things... Want ID to redo certain things.... Eg the extra store area was nor done correctly in terms of its size, use of wrong tiles in MBR toilet.....etc.... Btw, I still need to sleep but I need to meet deadline for my work leh.... Use to work late hours.... Cos it is quiettier and no disturbance.

Painting is about 70% completed.... Built-in store understairs almost done.... missing "tictac" door. And....those ugly pipes in yard and kitchen disappearing.<BR>Before:<BR><BR>After:<BR>

Agree with joyous, it may be nice to have a ceiling fan in the balcony, it going to be a challenge for the one who is cleaning it..... That's what is stopping me to install it.

Day 32 -18 Aug (Week 5) Rewiring started today and completed. That was faster than I thought.... I mean really fast. 2 days before, I helped to mark our the lighting points / 13A socket points, heater points, SCV and telephone points..... I guess that makes it easier for the electricians to get their work done. The cornices for the 3 bedrooms on level 2 completed too! In the process of constructing false ceiling on level 1 and new store area in living room.

Agree! A very Cosy home indeed...

I also used thick transparent plastic sheet to protect my table top. I got mine from a hardware shop in AMK hub.
