Your kitchen looks really lovely. I like your wet and dry kitchen concept. Except I think it would look even better if the laundry area is separate. For me, I created a yard area to separate my laundry area from my kitchen. It can be quite a problem to cook while the clothes are up there on the clothesline .....

Agree. That is why I was disappointed when the actual work was completed. The actual and 3d don't quite look the same. The other thing is that 3G and actual may not be of the same proportion. 3d is only an approx.

Updates (Week 9) ID is still working on the staircase.... still in progress. Notice the wooden handrail is not up yet and they also need to rework on the existing stairs, by taking away the trimming and making it flushed. I love the staircase wrought iron design All the window grilles have just been installed.

Or is your exhaust fan using a separate switch? Thx. I am thinking how the people are going to mont the fan on my window? Need to cut a hole?

Thanks. It is very tiring to keep monitoring and supervising what the workers are doing. What is unfortunate is that things were already done when I reached the site. Sianz...there were few occasion, there is rework. Bo pian, The fault is from them, And difficult to accept the errors.

Hi Prody, your reno is certainly progressing well. I love your raised platform and bedframe lighting.... MBR toilet looks impressive.... Your pipes are all boxed up? I was contemplating of having an exhaust fan in the toilet.... But not sure it is effective in getting rid of the smell / warm water vapor and also may lead to wastage of electricity should I or anyone forget to switch off. Cleaning and maintaining it could also be an issue.... So I dropped the idea. On the whole, everything is "swee"

I feel that privacy is impt esp when mine is a corridor unit. People walking past somehow is tempted to peep in to see what is inside. This can be quite disturbing. At the same time, I do not want to block out all the light. Hence, I decided on using frosted window film (cheaper than frosted glass) and block out light partially maybe 50%? My 2 cents worth... ..

Updates The staircase railings were installed. There was again some problem in the design but fortunately I was there to tell them the problem. The installer was able to rectify the problem quickly
