Kafu is not blur... he just does not know how to manage his workers..... he doesn't write/record the things I tell him, so he otten tend to forget. To overcome this, I will always message him a list of the things I want him to do....... so it seems like I am the one instructing him what to do. That is the best way to get my things moving and done. Eventually, he still do it for me without complaining.... this is whatI like about him ..... I still think he is a nice guy. Sorry to hear about the 2nd level flooring, what happen? Why 2.3K? Why do you want to bear the cost if it was due to their negligence?

I think you have great communication with ur ID... That's why everything is to your liking and satisfaction. At least your ID takes your suggestion well...... Not like mine.... Cannot decide and his taste is not my taste. -
Takeyu, everything is looking good.... Ur kitchen look neat and sleek u can look forward to moving in liao Cheers!

At least now your problem is resolved. Please note that EM Reno could take more than a mth if your Reno is extensive -
Anyone has bought Hdb recess area recently? Mine is the foyer of only 2sqm.... Hdb requires lawyer to process legal doc ..... That alone can cost 4k ! Crazy liao .... No wonder some people gave up buying ..... Does anyone know if this legal fees can be paid using CPF?

Thx for visiting my blog Szehui Ur reno is looking good and progressing well. If you don't want unnecessary rework, u got to keep pestering ID and be thick skin. Btw, in all the rework that my ID did for me, I didn't pay a single cent.

Everything is looking good and swee swee. Soon it will be over. Jia you!

Congrats on the start of ur reno.... Good feeling right seeing the things tearing apart and old things hacked off. It's normal cos sometimes there r many workers and some days none..... Perhaps u want to ask ur ID why?

Sound very complicated..... I thought it is very simple as just sell ur house and take that money to buy another one. Unless u are talking about buying 1st without selling your existing.... But I thought Hdb will not allow.... -
Wah 7 sqm for your recess area which can be converted into a useful foyer or space for shoe rack and other purposes:) u r so lucky!

Somehow there r crazy people out there who will still purchase such unit.... And that is what is driving COV up! -
Congrats on getting an EM. Where is this place? U r so lucky to get the corner unit. With the recess area, I think the area is about 158sqm? Renovating an EM will certainly require a big budget if overhaul......all the best!

My kitchen before moving in also look clean, neat and spacious. After moving in, it look different.... Find it really hard to keep it spacious..... I wonder how amyone can manage to maintain that "neat & clean" outlook after u move in.

I think you should try to relax so that u can make good decision. I agree that renovation can be stressful but it is important to have a clear mind so that we can give proper instruction to the ID or contractor to carry what we want for our place. Making errors could be costly for both parties:) -
So u like the house to have the retro feel..... But i find IKEA furnitures quite modern- looking ..... Not sure how u can blend in....
-
Nice laminate flooring. Kitchen carpentry is the normally most expensive depending on requirements..... Type of wood/material, ladder unit, soft touch mechanism, type of table top, island table....etc. Bathroom reno can also be ex too. I have a friend who do up his kitchen and 2 bathrooms condo already cost 80k .... That is almost twice of what I did for my EM ....
-
They lost a client.... U lose nothing. I m sure u can find the right ID / contractor in no time. There e so many to choose from Cheers!

You are right, it is better not to get this table if it doesn't match your theme. I have 2 antique pieces of furniture in my living hall .... Which cannot match with my modern theme. What to do? I just can't bear to part with them....

Congrats ! I suppose u hav completed your Reno. And moved in..... Cos ur pictures show ur start of reno. Can show before and after pics?
