Looking at the photos of ur current EM, seems like u need a major overhaul..... R u intending to keep the flooring? Unlike my study which is a tiny utility room, urs can double up as a bedroom.  One setback about EM is lack of storeroom. I didn't want to turn study to storeroom, so I have to create another storeroom in living area. The store area under staircase is insufficient.

Hi ashiesthm. Congrats in becoming a new EM owner.... U've got a good COV and at least u need not worry about having little $$$ for reno. I had to restrict my budget which was initially about 30k. I realize the quotes from the various ID and contractors mostly surpass the 50k mark. I won't recommend my ID to u coz I find him very him very inefficient and he procrastinates a lot! Another forumer who used him also faced similar situation. I m sure u will be able to find a suitable one in this forum.All the best in ur reno.

I counted , it should be 12:- 1 Main door, 3 bedroom, 3 toilets PD and bifold, 1 utility, 1 yard, 2 storearea tic tac, 1 balcony sliding. Haha.....

But custom made doors can be very costly ..... Pockets must be deep enough coz my place has 11 doors....

Dotty and marble, when is your handover date? U r nearing completion? Did u manage to resolve the purchase of recess area issue? Ur case is quite similar to mine.... Too much paper work involved! I feel that HDB should speed up the process.

Hi bro Kobelala, so nice of u to drop by to say hello. My family loves this EM even though things in it can be messy at times..... The only complaint from the children is going up and down the stairs. The place is so comfortable that we now prefer to stay at home than to go out. what about u?

Hi bro Kobelala, nice track lamps! Where do u get these halogen lamps.... They look very white in the photo. Mine r yellow leh. How much did u pay for the ionizer? I think I may consider getting one too.

Nimzo, what was the agreement with ur window contractor? If u didn't specify u want 3 panel, then they will just do what seem best to them.

Don't stress yourself with the wiring work.... The electrician should know what to do.....just mark out the places u want the switches / sockets. And label where want to place lightings. I m sure everything will be swee swee
