Ur renovation is coming to completion? Very nice Now u can focus on ur big day n moving in
-
Haha.... U should take ur time to sort out ur things..... Provided the movers don't chase u to return fhose boxes..... U build many storage space? For me, I didn't n had to get IKEA to install many storage cabinets.

Phew! At least the reno is finally over for u..... can now sit back n relax a little before ur newborn comes. Catch as much rest as possible..... The next challenge is the moving. Get relatives or friends to help if possible as there r lots thing to move

I found out that there is a distributor who markets this XPEDE clothes hanger cum dryer. I don't have space in my yard for a dryer, so this semi auto clothes hanger n dryer system will be a good alternative. It saves space coz it hangs neatly from the ceiling. My only concern is during that 1 hr when the warm air is discharge, I may need to close the yard door. I will go to the factory to see the demo before deciding.....

Nonetheless, This idea is unique as it uses part of the store space under the stairs. I think u can't put any furniture in front as u need to access the shoe cabinet. I don't have space to do this design coz I currently place my daughter's piano in that space. Hope everything will be ready for handover today?? Cheers and wish u a smooth delivery for ur newborn too!

Congrats on ur reno completion. I like ur white and sleek kitchen. Your island with the 3 hanging lamps is nice too! Do post more pics of ur completed reno

Congrats! Your place looks huge. MBR will be very big after combining the 2 rooms. I like ur layout coz there r plenty of windows and should make the whole place bright and airy What Is the total area of ur unit?

I love ur hanging lights! Ur idea of converting part of the space under the staircase into a shoe cabinet is a clever one..,,. why didn't I think of that? Heehee

Xpede Electric Clothes dryer and hanger system Anyone is using this system? I heard from my colleague that this clothes dryer and hanger system is good. As part of my plan to automate household chores, I m considering to install this semi automated clothes hanging system to replace the traditional one at my yard. Found this video on you tube Please give me ur feedback if u r using this in ur house. Thx

Thanks for sharing more pics Adidaem. It is certainly worth considering the punggol loft units after mop. Do u think the resale price for these units is more costly if compared with the older penthouse units in mature estates. R these punggol loft units classified under 5rm or executive? I love the midern layout and external outlook of the building. Only setback is that these units r far from my working place. -

So long no updates from u? MIA? Looks like u r not happy with ur current contractor. Hope u have settle ur dispute. Btw, didn't u know how much each job would cost before u sign on the dotted line????

I m impressed with your drawing - so neatly done and precise. I like your flat layout too. Good idea to convert service balcony to study room but the entrance can be from MBR rather than kitchen. What abt your laundry? without a service balcony/yard, how do u intend to hang ur clothes/place your mops/broom?

I agree with u...... once the meter is in recess area, the issue is a complex one. What I am not happy with HDB is that my recess area is only that tiny space of 2sqm (foyer) at my door entrance, no meters or blocking anybody's path, yet it took HDB more than 6 months to approve and settle a simple document. They will not allow me to place a gate at the recess area if I dont buy that recess area. I m happy now that I have legally bought this space and added 2sqm to my exisitng floor area. Now I m thinking of moving the wooden door to flush with the gate. Do I also need to get approval for this?

Adadiem, thx again for uploading these photos for all to view. One look at these pictures, I couldnt tell it is HDB...... looks like some expensive double storey terrace/ semi detach/bungalow. I simply love the high ceiling in living/hall.... very tempting to get one of these units in future if I cannot afford landed property. -
Oh... does it mean u r extending ur kitchen to this area? So u have a very big area for kitchen? Any 3D drawings for this? Btw, how do u settle for storearea to keep "unwanted" things or bulky items like vacuum cleaners, brooms ? EM dont have a storeroom apart from the small and pathetic store under the stairs.

Hi Star, from ur photos, ur place seems quite modern and well well maintained. U probably can savage some to save on reno. Spend $$ on furnishings

Franciz, ur 1st level room can be a proper bedroom? Mine is too small to be a bedroom.....
-
Hope u have got ur contractior to resolve this problem. The workers probably left the debis stuck in the drainage. I only found out this when my toilet was flooded. A worker came and dug out all the debris!

I ve not seen iRobot but the price I heard is quite similar to iCelbo.....ie abt $900. These 2 have cameras on them to help them "see" things around them and memorize routes. Of course it will be good to own these robots as sellers claim they r different coz they don't repeat the routes. Only Icelbo cones with the mop attachment. I don't find it convincing to have a small cloth to mop the entire house... Lol My robot only have sensors to sense for objects around it. It offers 5 different mode partterns. I like the along wall best as most of the dust or hair tend to be located along the sides of the walls. The random mode is good enough for me as it covers 70 to 80% of floor space to be vacuum. It xan be programmed to do scheduled work and intelligent enough to go back to home station to recharge itself. My Agait robot is indeed a great helper to me as I don't have a human domestic helper. Heehee
