My COV last yr was 50k......alrdy felt the pinch. My friend recently bought a similar EM from HDB in Hougang.....no COV, n what is even better is that it is a corner unit n can buy recess area.

I ve tried.... It will only delay the purchase of the flat. It may take u a year from application to approval to signing legal doc...

Great to know that HDB restore ur EM to it's original state. While it is good to get ideas from various home n decor mag, I find most of the design custom made n costly. It will not help me if I have a small budget. I rather go for practicality n make make EM functional. For a budget of abt 40k, I was still able to do a complete overhaul.... I m still happy with my simple reno

50k may not be enough nowadays for major overhaul. If u keep the flooring n exclude bedroom carpentry, then maybe. Dont forget u still have 3 bathrooms.....Reno cost has risen significantly.... Hope u can find a good contractor.

Wah so many quotes for u to look at. Wouldn't that be confusing esp when they r proposing different things. I m sure u have a certain budget n Reno specs. If I were u , I will award the ID who can meet my budget n Reno requirement.

Just dont like neighbours who put so many 'unwanted' things outside common areas that makes passageway narrow.

I have used breakthru missions 3 times.... No Major issues. They moved my panio too, dismantle n assembled my beds, wardrobes. I think they r great!

Congrats! I recall ur EM in sunset way..... Great to own a landed property. The reno for this place is massive and goes beyond the interior. Renovation cost has gone up drastically. What could be achieved 2 yrs ago is quite unlikely now. All the best to ur reno..... Update n share with us pics. There r also many potential landed buyers too
