  3. Wow, very nice reno Cantona7. First time seeing your reno pics. My kitchen will be similar to yours (good taste bro ) but different colors Every room looks excellent...Zen, Modern Contemp, rustic, etc... I also did approach Angeline in my early ID hunting stage but never follow thru.
  4. Thanks eR1c. Here's another pic of worker in action...
  5. Spot on Hummm must find a more difficult one next time... It was taken on MTR station at Jurong East yesterday. Background is IMM building.
  6. Hey Linda, hope you can rectify the issues without too much inconvenients to you. Cheers
  7. Good stuff. This is my favorite thread... Picture tells a thousand words.. Guess where is this pic taken from
  8. More tiling pics... Tilers are very meticulous in their work
  9. Anyone have any idea on what kind of casing (metail or pvc) to hide all the electrical wire when doing SP testing? In the case of conseal wiring thru the TV feature wall, partition board and thru wall (not beam), is it mandatory to have metal casing for each of these for SP testing? Anyone have more detail on the above please share as got so many confusion in the market. Thanks for your quick reply.
  10. We also got the same rice dispenser. It's very convenients to use. The wardrobes you have are excellent and great looking.
  11. Thanks for sharing the info & pic to all of us to avoid such incidents. I would definitely ask the tiler/contractor to redo the tiles due to incorrect height. You never know any future issues arising from such patching up the holes on tiles. Is best to agree on paper with everthing like design & measurements before starting anything just to aviod any misunderstanding. This is what we are doing now with our ID. Also best to have lots of communication flow and try to be on-site as much as possible in case see anything incorrect early. Cheers
  12. You could box up these pipes and have storage cabinet under the top pipes to store all your washing detrgents & other items. It will definitely looks more neater.
  13. Window installed... and tiling now...
  14. Got 5th...not too bad Hi tim_chenie, have a great time during reno...definitely will be busy i can tell you that. Enjoy the reno & do post pics ... Cheers
  15. Wow ...looks like Stonehenge Interesting...first time see this...others use strings to level it......also don't know why use stone? Great to see your reno is moving very fast...
  16. Agree that Yamaha Amps are renoun for great music & movies. Reason for Denon is thinking should get an amp that is warm so that can compliment the bright satellite speakers of MT1. But now may consider Yamaha amp to go with KEF 5005 speakers. KEF 5005 speaker have quoted maximum output of 106dB where as the 250W sub is 110dB. Crossover can be done at 80hz.
  17. Hi Cantona Thanks for your comments.. Unfortunately cannot get the floor speakers due to it's size and non-matching with our design....so must be small speaker type for us. Most likely getting the KEF 5005...what do you think about this speaker? Just arrived in Singapore so not sure if you have auditioned it at Adelphi lately. Amp - Looking at Denon 28xx or the Marantz 8001 (4 HDMI input & 2 out) Speaker - KEF 5005 or MT-1 (x5) + Velodyne SPL-800R DVD - good choice you have there. Thanks
  18. Just came back from shopping. Decided on the following: HT --> KEF 5005...Listened first time and the music on these speaker are fantastic considering it's size. Only thing is the sub (250W) is not that good compares to PV1 or Velodyne 800i (which are 500W ) WC Bathroom basins Tabs
  19. Hi TYM, Decided not to mess up other forumer blog This burning truck in my avatar was taken by me on the PIE last month...which cause a big massive jam on PIE. It also won the best tip-off off the day from Singapore STOMP and got rewarded with some shopping voucher for my trouble
  20. I'm also looking to do some solar films on windows. So interested to learn more & hope someone can share some good lobang... Applefreak, promoting your blog works...
  21. Hi ranval....Welcome to RenoTalk and this place is very informative & helpful Wow...managed to be the first to congrat newbie.
  22. Hummm...good points . We mull over for a few hours before going down to the shop to make all purchases this evening to beat the GST Thanks
  23. We decided on the Ariston (PH930 MST-Tre) SS 3 burner (which the burners are quite spaciously spread out so can cook big pots & fry woks easily...and less finger print marking ). Was also very interested in the Rinnai inner burner feature but decided against it cos of difficulty in cleaning internal incase food or soup/water drop in the holes Whereas the ariston is a once piece totally seal so no chance of anything dripping inside the burner hole. Just our opinions Here is the one we are interested in..
