  1. Thanks phoenix. Yes do drop by the shop (it's very huge ) near expo...it was an eye openner for us too when we first started looking for WC as they have a variety of WC from cheap to expensive imported ones & bathroom accessories. Price is quite fixed though. You can try comparing prices with other shops once you narrow down on your choices. Enjoy shopping..
  2. Good choice. Did you get the 50" P9? If so were you one of the first 2 to get this model? Cheers
  3. Hi wendily, PM you the details & comments. They definitely not the cheapest in town but if you are looking for top selection materials, workmanship & service/advice we highly recommended. They invested & used automated computerised machine stitching for a nice & perfect results... Btw, lovely minimist design house you have which i always wanted as well but difficult to maintain with kids. Love the kitchen with the island (which i was also planning but drop the idea in final design).
  4. Congrat. Wow !! just nice for a HT projector with large screen at the back of the living room . All the best in your ID hunting.
  5. Hi Light, The WC is great right!...nice design & comfortable. Unfortunately, our WC does not comes with the Geberlt flushing system. However other make & model WC has the option of installing the Gerberlt flushing system. You can check out at Sim Siang Choon at IMM or HQ at 21 Changi Sounth Ave 2 Tel: 62666632 as they have a huge variety of WC and some with Gerberlt system. More details of Gerberlt flushing system can be found here Gerberlt Gerberlt flushing system . From my research & comments from most shops is that this is a very good flushing system and does not spoil so easily. It's a Swiss technology but some are now manufactured in China. Cheers
  6. Very nice selections you got there.
  7. We are using the model called Cassanowa WC come with with slow down seat cover for the common bathroom. It's low height and quite big so very nice to sit and do your business comfortably. Think it's made in Taiwan. Got it for around $290. The master bathroom got the model called Verlin with slow down seat cover and paid around $320. Try to get the right collar adjustment and not too big extension. Also try to see if there are enough gaps & heights in case the brown things needs to flush smoothly without block/jam. If can, see if you can have the Gebert flushing system installed. Can look at my blog (post #324) for pics. Cheers
  8. Posting these pics for some forumers to see and give advice. Model is Cassanowa 1020 in common bathroom. Comes with with slow down seat cover so ideal for kids . It's low height and quite big bowl so very nice to sit on and do your business comfortably. Think it's made in Taiwan or China. Like this model cos the ceramic are very even & smooth. Other advices: Try to get the right collar adjustment and not too big extension. Also try to see if there are enough gaps & heights in case the brown things needs to flush smoothly without block/jam. If can, see if you can have the Gebert flushing system installed.
  9. Yup...that's the one. Very luxurious look & feel i must say
  10. It's the D-M33 model cos the DAB model (which i wanted) could not fit in the niche hole. Here are more pics on curtains/roman blinds installation just recently completed. Installations by staffs was very professional, neat & clean Daughter room...nice pink roman blind Living room Balcony steaming to iron out the creases... Master bedroom...actual color of the organza is a lot nicer & richer...ceiling lights created different mood&color on the curtain. Backing is 100% black out curtains which is very effective and most time i cannot tell if morning or night time Track & pulley system from Japan. Very solid & convenient
  11. Here you go bro... Thanks for your advice on the other models. Got some restrictions on the speaker heights so this is the best that meets my requirements & budget. The sound is very nice also
  12. Wow you place is renovated very nicely. One of the most unique home i have seen. Well done
  13. Thanks Yang Guo. Yes you are correct, the silicon is well hidden inside. Was told that because water usually will just run down the silicon (in the undermount) and less likely to be trap water (unlike the top mount) and hence minimal algae or dirty. Off course maintenance is important as well. Yup, must put silicon in both undermount & top mount. I have seen the expensive & nice undermount sinks which can have very minimal silicon cos the gap is so small... and looks very nice but price is almost double the top mount sinks.
  14. Hi Simpleboi, You can check out Lumier (at Balestier Rd) for quite a good range of lightings. Price may or may not suite you but their service & advice is top notch.
  15. Hi binzz, we ordered ours quite long time ago around June-July promotional time. We also wanted the 3 piece accessories for the sink but was out of stock at the time and still no words as of to-date. Did you got any of those accessories?
  16. Our Ariston's Delizia hob. Not recommended if you are a moderate to heavy cooker. Cos after a long continous usage the glass top & the surrounding tends to get quite warm So was told not to clean immediately after heavy cooking unlike the stainless steel hobs. But it sure looks nice and easy to use & clean
  17. Thanks CM. Yes you are right about the silicon. We got the Franke products during their promotion. We choose cos heard that Franke makes good sinks which are very solid. Your Blanco sure even nicer (and more expensive i guess). It's yours the Zeroline undermount sink? Large sinks are a joy in a large kitchen.
  18. Hi gadgetgal, We installed a top mount sink like undermount. Please see my T-blog (post# 307) for pic. Cheers
  19. Our top mount sink (FRANKE) done undermounted. To achieved this the sink edge thickness must not be too thick and that the carpenters have the expertise in assembling & workmanship.
  20. Don't know you yet but congrat. Happy renovating... Cheers
  21. I also got both wallmount + stand for my plasma (Panasonic) and only got stand for the LCD (Panasonic). If not wrong, Panasonic plasma give both whereas Pionear only give one choice. You can try negotiate with the sales guy before you sign the dotted line.
  22. Hi The Hettich Cosario units is very neat & nice . How i wish i know such unit exist. Lovely kitchen with the island. Btw, nice photos on the progress. Cheers
  23. Hi chrispy, Sorry for the late reply as just seen yr reply. You are in good hand with Patrick. He is very knowledgeable. I sure your ID will be surprised. Wait till she knows how heavy these AV amps can be . Mine (8xx) is much more heavier and i insist on having a strong base on my tv console cabinet. So please have extra wooden supports in your cabinet (if you are placing there) and also have plenty of ventilation space (height, width & depth) around the amp in case it is inside enclosure...cos these new onkyo amp can be rather hot when played really loud or on long time. Better decide now (in case your false ceiling is not completed yet) if you want that rear speaker in place. In future you may need to drill holes in the false ceiling to accomodate the wiring & speaker mounting. Your amp is very good for the specs. Off course if you don't required more HDMI input/output and reon processing chip of the more expensive models like 805, 875 & 905. Btw, which speaker you finally decided...is it wharfedale or genie? Cheers
