You can definitely try going for a group buy in china but provided you have been to china and view their chair and order and ship from there when you were there. Many versions of the eggchairs are around and quality really deviates from each other. When there is problem with the chair, rest assured that they will not respond much to you unless you are gonna order from them again. This is china, i have my bad fair share in ordering from them already. I rather spend abit more to buy from singapore directly. My 2 cents worth! cheers!

So far I ordered twice from studio 1961.. First time was the eames lounge chair.. Same as what they have advertised so am satisfied with it.. Ordered again for the rocking chair at $250, very happy with them so far. Their office is at chevron house raffles place.
