Hello, it seems that my previous posts of my bad experience have been removed by the admin and i have absolutely no idea about it. Just check and found out all posts after april2012 have been removed. it is really sad as this happening at this forum.

i went to them before early last year and the id who serves me gave me ideas whichare nice but not practical. if you are rich and you like those ideas, maybe you can go ahead. lol

Hello all, I would like to apologise to all for making an embarrassing mistake. I have confuse ideal house with ideal design interior. A reall big bai wu long. Also wish to sincerely apologise to ideal house as well. So sorry for such mistake as I always thought ideal house and ideal design interior is of the same company. I would like to clarify my I'd is from ideal design interior and not ideal house

sbshortcake, did you make the final payment after carpentry is up? because right now, carpentry is up but the solid top is not up. My ID said that the solid top need to be measured and they will install it next week. and tml he wants to collect the rest of the payment which i am not comfortable with as ther are still some stuffs such as painting which is not completd/ touchup. Can anyone advice? I was worried after the last payment made, he would just clean his *** and walk away.

The main things with my ID from ideal house which irks me is that he doesn't know his job well.

Thanks for the recommendation but i don;t think it would be nice to make such arrangement as my renovation is already almost done as i did not do much stuffs. I'm only left with cabinets installations, electricals stuffs etc. Been pushing my current ID everyday. I just hope the end result such as quality would be good as i believe Ideal house uses the same carpentry, painter and electrician.

but like i said earlier, there are always black sheep in all companies. I am just the super unlucky one. I engage Ideal house because of the positive remarks from this forum and this is another disappointment, perhaps i should look for kenneth, the so call good 1

I'm not using kenneth, my quote less than 15k, think to them too low and they don;t even bother much. now still midway through the renovation. I think i can take over the job of the so call ID. everything i have to liase myself. why the **** do i engage this company for!

Hi SBShortcake, mine just got started and i have made a made the 2nd payment. Total paid 60% plus the variation order. you know everytime when i wanted to add certain thing, i get expensive quote, much higher than market rate and that is why i remove alot of stuff and doesnt want to add anymore stuffs with the ID. I'm so envious that you got a good ID.

I have also engage ideal house. The pre sales service is excellent and prompt. but disappointment came after contract is signed and 1st payment of 10% made. Service level began dropping drastically. Perhaps my quote too low and he doesn't earn much. And also i think perhaps it depends on your luck as well as i believe not all Ideal house Id are like this.

Well, we consumers do need to protect ourselves. Imagine if no one raises this topic, would you all think you be getting back all your hard earn money that quickly.

I am having a difficult situation in choosing between castilla sofa and lorenzo sofa. I went to castilla at upper bt timah road and found a sofa matching my dimension and price reasonable. I also went to lorenzo and found another sofa of the same price. Which should i choose. personally i finds that the one at castilla was more comfortable. Anyone able to advise

I passed by expo today and went in to take a look at their furnitures. As usual, the same packages, same sweet talk and they try to pin down other companies like lorenzo saying they don't even have a website(i seriously doubt that as i viaited lorenzo site before) and other companies only bull****ing that they have a manufacturing warehouse which tey do not have. I really doubt them alot and during that time, I was already looking into my iPhone and found this site talking all about their bad service delivery. Whew, what a sign of relief. I tell them I consider first and see see look look first as the guys was trying very hard to close the deal persuading me to get the 3998 package. I went to the expo recently and talk to one of their designer and got a rough quotation. the designer lynn seems good and got everyting planned out for you, but their quotation are on a much higher side. they are charging wardrobe pfs at 300. if they charge abit reasonable, i would have sign up with them.
