Any Good Carpenters To Recommend For Laminate Works
Synchron replied to slothbal's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
hello, its not recommended to just paste over the existing laminate. you have to apply Terpene to the laminate and start prying it out pieces by pieces however if your laminate have been staying on top for years.. then i would say.. customise a new one instead. -
Can do on wall but will have joints loh..

This is usually only practiced for commercial renovations for not completing in time.. however your demand is quite reasonable though.

You want real wood feel? go for chengai but it will bleed. Looks good but feels not that great then go for Composite decking. colour fading will not be as fast as chengai but still will shade under the nature's sunlight!

Anyone Got Idea To Cover Up Bomb Shelter Door?
Synchron replied to shawncck's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
The bomb shelter is quite... redundant one loh... -
U have to personally sit on the WC to feel whether its good.. if since ur using it for tenants and some guest.. might as well get a nice design and a cheap one instead.. WC is just a WC...

if ur talking abt those small slices of red bricks use maxbond to stick it on a big piece of plywood. Trust me.. u will go crazy. I volunteered for my customer .. did it together with him to do some artistic shiet. nice experience and bonding with the owner and his family though ;D.

Hi, always stick to usual contract method. the rewiring is very expensive. U could have sourced for another electrician to do it .. Why u would even agree to hold just 5% ?! It is very low. please hold at least 10%.. to have control of the id. the usual is 10% deposit is for tpe drawings and the money to.buy material. so after laying of tiles then u upfront up to 50% .. Before starting of through carpentry another 20 to 30 percentt. upon installing finish the cabinet payment upfront to 90%. the last 10 percent is for Completion of work and touching up then u pay. follow this for win win -
Pm me ur sizing, i can calculate the cost out for you. U need to laminate ur table top as well. I've done up one of my customer's kitchen worktop as glass w/ lighting below. Very lovely glow! Note: have to use 12MM which many glass company doesnt like to do it as its F****** heavy! LOL

i would rather you not use the LG or any 100% acrylic. Save the money.. i've seen my customer place after i've done up for him. Although its higher scratch resistance and higher heat resistance.. seems nice on specs sheet itself but.. actual usage also got scratches.. might as well go for the norm ones and choose the lighter colour..

paste news paper for painting or buy the plastic sheet will do bro.. the corrugated board really over kill sia...u will cry when u start pasting it.
