Yap, should be joining you all. But can't confirm as yet because my partner might have to run some errands in the morning. Will confirm again with May and Friends tmr morning. But as for st96's house, I should have no problem going.

From the looks of it, it seems to be the D8000 series rather than the D7000 series. D8000 should be above $6000 with some freebies. However, the remote app should be for the C series TV, yours is the newer D series. Can it still work?

Hi Mae, Finally managed to skim through your 40 pages of reno adventures! Took me quite a while to read through, but definitely worth the time. Your house is superb - cosy, practical and beautiful! (Most homes nowadays hardly combines practicality with beauty, not to mention customised and suited for your whole family) And wow, you are definitely a modern mummy! Your pic on the newspaper looks nice - both your kitchen and yourself of course! Really pei fu you, have to juggle between needs of the family members, incorporate the fengshui perspective and top it off with asesthetic comfort. And you are an all-rounder - a fengshui expert, a good cook, a wonderful mother, a loving wife, with a job title that makes people go 'Wow'. Haha. Really hope to have a chance to visit your house in the future!

My second choice was Serta too! - Serta Constellation. Actually me and my partner had made up our mind to buy the Serta, but after we tried the Dunopillo, we changed our minds. Initially my dream bed was the Sleep to Live beds, extremely comfy and feels like someone is hugging you to sleep. However, din go with it because budget was a concern and the beds did not receive good reviews in the forums. Hopefully the Dunlopillo bed feels the same as what I have tried in the showroom! (i bought mine in March, but havent got it delivered yet coz wanted it to come after the reno is completed.)

Its our first home, so initially we wanted to have a place which is at a convenient location - we were pondering over redhill, queenstown or tiong bahru area. However, during house-hunting time, i changed to a new job and it wasn't very stable. Hence, budget constraints at the very last min and decided on Jurong area, a place where I grew up in.

Is it on the 39th floor? I remembered I viewed one on the 39th floor few months ago when I was doing my house-hunting. Me and my partner was mesmerised by the superb unblocked panaromic view from all the rooms of the house, but it was out of our budget... In the end, we settled for a house at Jurong... a place where you intended to move out from... Haha...

Hi Ely, Sorry to hear about the hiccups for your reno, but you are not alone! Mine has exactly as much problems as you do - from wrong placement of switches to wrong laminates used. Its really a stressful journey - I have to pray and hope that nothing goes wrong everyday when I check on the reno progress(but most often than not, my prayers aren't answered...haha). Looking forward to the completion of your reno and hope to learn more from your blog, especially tips on online buying! PS: Just found out I got the same mattress as you do! Haha
