one shipment came in during this period. its our bedside table from the States. somehow when compared with buying from thailand, it was cheaper. lorgan has this too but iirc its $300 ish per piece? so fun to receive parcels the table was disassembled for the shipping. just need screwdriver to assemble it back. our love for pencil legs and beautiful teak grains

lol! went to the website. saw GLOW IN THE DARK SPRAY. right, as long as plastic spray then there is no need to sand down. one of this cans in sg will cost how much? (dont see myself going to check out the prices now that i dun need to do spraying)

ok while air con was fixed up then the water closet and basin was also fixed up. no problem here. everything was aligned and centralized. (yucks...after the water closet fixed up the workers keep using it. even though dont like the idea but its alright to let them use it. anyway later will have chemical washing. )

air con being installed. using daikin non-inverter. got my family's air con guy contact to do it. below is study room air con gypsum board in mbr. this one had to be built because the depression is too much. we dont really bother about exposed trunking. later there was some minor problem with the trunking and it was good that we didnt hide it. living room air con. we have shifted the mbr bedroom door to a more central location. take note of that right angled protruding wall which later will play an impt function. wiring also laid. all the standard cat 6 wires and power points here and there. always good to have a power point near your dining table so you can have teppanyaki or steamboat. this area here will be the dining area.

so received a reward from my wife. its my bag. it was also then her birthday. so took a short break from reno and recharge.

heck it...not many will head out of window and look back into the kitchen.

just went to check it. its screwed and some parts cemented down. if i ask my contractor to take it out, dont know if need to pay more. the grills have rivets.

eh ask your guy to do it la. he needs more muscles. :sport-smiley-003: albert did point out something impt that i didnt stress. u must sand the surface first. and the fine metal dust is bad for health if breathe in.

you are totally right man. the big mistake was that the alu bars should have been sanded. so i had to paint 1 coat of paint to make the surface uneven.

cant stand the original hdb bronze brown colour. it makes the inside of the flat really dark and moody yar.... 1 and a half weeks because still need to tape up the windows for kitchen and mbr and then spray 3-4 layers too. if got money, we will go buy new set. want to save money then have to do it this way. Save Money FTW!!
