Hi All, My resale flat is now undergoing renovations and the plastering works has just been done. I found the plastering works not up to mark (ceiling has obvious bulges, some walls and beams are slanted), but my ID claims that plastering works is only to smoothen the surface and make it appear nicer, and not to even and level out surfaces. My living room ceiling now has two obvious bulges and i guess it will show even more when the covelights are installed and lights turned on, and i see a 'pregnant' wall everytime i step into my living room. He claims that my expectations are too high, and that the bulges and uneveness was inherent from the original condition of the house, if it was originally like that, there is nothing they can do to even or level it. IS what my ID said true? if its inherent than there's nothing they can do to level it? My argument is, they can always hack, knock or drill away the bulging part of the wall or ceiling, and plaster over it to even it. Or is this not a feasible practice?
