See below for the changes made to fit in the WIW for our MBR The downside is the reduced space for the bed area with 1 feet width along the sides, although small but cozy....within 1 arm reach to the bay window and wall mount TV We bought a string curtain from Gmarket to act as the door entrance to the WIW; cost is only S$16

Sure, will provide feedback once the wallpapers are received. Wallpaper from Taobao http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=14054052100 (selected 60307 Silver) http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=14639908691&ali_trackid=2:mm_14507416_2297358_8935934,0:1337741760_3k2_334835614 (selected LP1608 Black) As for the pasting, our ID has lobang to get the contractor to work freelance/part-time for him, just pay him abit of $$$ but cheaper than shops selling wallpapers and charging a minimum of $300 for the same service.

We did! After several with hubby, we finally decided to : 1. Remove the bi-fold door to service yard and seal up that opening - this will also solve the problem of ppl seeing through from kitchen/svc yard when you are bathing or doing "business" 2. Tear down the partition & PD doors provided by HDB (this retro design reminds me of my grandma's house in Mei Ling Street ) 3. Install a bi-fold door at the toilet entrance (bought from Besglas @ IMM - they are so much better than normal bi-fold door as they slide open/close easier. Also they are using top roller without any bottom so you won't see track on the floor). 4. Install glass shower-screen to segregate between dry and wet area. The advantages of the above design will : 1. allow anyone who uses the toilet to close only 1 door instead of 2 2. allow towel rack or shelves to be wall-mounted on the seal up wall (to the service yard) 3. make the toilet looks bigger (physcologically) 4. prevent our baby girl (whose room is directly opposite the toilet) to climb thru the toilet to service yard The disadvantages are : 1. cannot shortcut to the kitchen or service yard via the toilet 2. not much wind/air circulation with this seal up of wall to the service yard 3. cannot wash laundry by hand in the common toilet and dry them directly into the service yard 4. cannot play catching by running round and round Anyway, below is how our common toilet look like in 3D drawing : -
Hall & kitchen almost done up Our greyish laminate flooring for the rooms are completed....

Taobao website where you do the shopping online www.taobao.com Shipping Agents from China to Singapore www.hoyoyo.com (we prefer this one) www.65daigou.com Hoyoyo website is busy, sometimes it take a long time to access to the homepage, sometimes it cannot be displayed at all, so patience is the key
-
Goto www.hoyoyo.com and paste the Tabao URL of the items you want to purchase. You will be informed of the total cost (SGD), including the shipping cost from China to Singapore, directly to your doorstep. Details can be found at Hoyoyo website....remember Google is your best fren!

Hmmmm.. by the way, does anyone know how to delete a new thread started in Renotalk? Think my hubs accidentally created a new one...
-
Hi sh87, You have been PMed!
-
Something screwed up but luckily the items we bought from Taobao are still in Hoyoyo's China warehouse, else we would have to incur the international shipping fee in returning the wrong items from Singapore to China and vice versa (return & reship), which would then be more expensive as compared to buying them locally in Singapore. Thumbs up for Hoyoyo customer service! (despite my hub's blasting, the CSO still remains composed and calm) We placed another order in Taobao for below Victorian-styled mirror set, after browsing those at FrancFranc @ JCube. We like this bench for our dining table. At Star Living Furniture, the short one costs $189 while the longer piece costs $239?? Anyone know where else can we find this bench or similar designs?
