Hi, does anyone know of any furniture shops that sells classical furniture? like european ones... I am looking for a nice armchair for my bedroom, around $700 - $800.. I've been to manhattan collection (nothing much), parishomes (errr... the showroom aka condo unit is a mess), king & king wong (there is something there i like but over my budget), iwannagohome (like something there but damaged and only piece left!) I collected the above list from renotalk so am wondering if there is anywhere else I can go? Any suggestion will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, I've just moved into my 4-room flat but now I'm facing a dilemma over my 'incomplete looking' MBR. Along one side of the wall, I have space for a study table measuring 3ft in length. It can't go beyond that cos' I have a full length mirror mounted on the wall (don't ask me why I did that... sigh...). Anyway, my MBR is pretty boring in terms of colour and furnishings. Beige bedframe, dark brown wardrobe, dark brown bookcase and my wall is porcelain (creamy colour). So now I'm looking for a study table to be a conversational piece. I don't mind something loud but must be the correct length. In fact, it need not be a study table. It can be simply a table! I've been going through the forum topics and even reno t-blogs to hunt for this 'elusive' table but can't seem to find.. So would really appreciate if someone could offer me some ideas on which furniture shop to go to. Thanks in advance. Also, I'm looking for a white bookcase for my girl's room. There's this annoying space under her bedroom window which measures 170cmW x 70cmH. Need a white bookcase to complement the rest of the furniture in her room. Again, any idea is great.. thanks!

Hi, My dining chairs are slightly stained (food stains from kid's dining habits) but they failed to come off no matter how I wiped. Was thinking of changing the whole dining set but the table is still fairly new.. and replacing the dining chairs aren't cheap at $300 a pc from Picket & Rail (need to replace 6 pcs). Was thus thinking of re-upholstery the cushion part.. Any idea if this is worth doing? And any recommendations on where to do? Will be good if can offer me some estimated costings... Thanks! Jen
