  1. Thanks for the replies. I think I will put wall tiles. No point saving some and end up spend more to change cabinets in long run. I am not using ID & will be buying my own tiles.
  2. Hi Just wanted to find out: Is it necessary to put wall tiles on those parts of the wall which will be covered by the kitchen cabinets? Any consequence in the long run if no wall tiles behind? I thought it is quite a waste to put tiles and then cover up with cabinets. As the kitchen is small, most parts will have build in cabinets , so can save a bit if no tiles behind?
  3. Hi Thks for your reply. Just went down to toto showroom and was told that for the one-pc and closed coupled WC, all made in Indonesia and come with Geberit flushing mechanism. Only the high end ones are from Japan. Do you happen to know which supplier for Toto and Johnson Suisse has a more competitive pricing? So many shops selling such stuff and really got no time to chk around? Thank you.
  4. Hi May I know where you bought your Duravit WC system & the Hansgrohe fittings? Thank you.
  5. Hi all I had the same experience as Cupidth. I recently threw away a L shaped sofa bought from Living Instinct in June 2009. Paid over $2.5K for it. Shortly after a yr, the seats started to peel off. Was thinking of calling them to ask for repair or something but decided that its too much of a hassle. Did not know of this forum then. Now I know I had bought a "crappy" "full leather sofa" which only lasted slightly over a yr. My previous full leather sofa lasted over 10yrs.
  6. Hi Just saw the Duravit D-code (toilet bowl with cistern) and understand that it is the entry level WC for Duravit. Sales person said that it also used the Gerberit flushing system and also made in Germany. I mean, if it really last a long time without problems (as what the sales person said) then may be worth paying for it. Otherwise, I will just go for Johnson Suisse.I was just wondering if anyone has used this brand before and whether the spare parts are easily available. Does Toto also has a similar entry level WC ? Saw a number at Home and Batroom at balestier and they said its made in Indonesia but not sure if those are comparable to Duravit ones cos' price differential is a lot! THANKS.
